Security on high alert in Red Zone ahead of Iranian President Masoud Peshkeshian’s visit to Pakistan

حکومت کی جانب سے جاری نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق ریڈ زون میں واقع متعدد وزارتوں اور اداروں کے ملازمین کو گھر سے کام کرنے کی ہدایت کی گئی ہے، تاہم کابینہ ڈویژن، ایف بی آر، وزارتِ خزانہ، وزارتِ تجارت اور وزارتِ خارجہ کے دفاتر معمول کے مطابق کھلے رہیں گے۔
نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق وزارتِ داخلہ، انسدادِ منشیات، قانون و انصاف، وزارتِ پارلیمانی امور، وزارتِ صنعت و پیداوار اور وزارتِ منصوبہ بندی، ترقی و خصوصی اقدامات کے دفاتر بھی معمول کے مطابق کام جاری رکھیں گے۔
اس کے علاوہ قومی اسمبلی، سینیٹ، وزیراعظم سیکرٹریٹ اور ریونیو ڈویژن کے دفاتر بھی حسبِ معمول کھلے رہیں گے۔
حکومتی نوٹیفکیشن میں کہا گیا ہے کہ ریڈ زون میں واقع خودمختار اداروں اور منسلک محکموں میں تعطیل ہوگی، جبکہ گھر سے کام کرنے والے اداروں کے افسران اور سیکرٹریز کا عملہ اپنے سٹیشنز پر موجود رہے گا، تمام ملازمین کو مختصر اطلاع پر دفتر پہنچنے کیلئے تیار رہنے کی ہدایت بھی کی گئی ہے۔
دوسری جانب ریڈ زون میں راستوں کی بندش کے باعث وفاقی آئینی عدالت کی کاز لسٹ منسوخ کر دی گئی ہے، رجسٹرار آفس نے کاز لسٹ کی منسوخی کا نوٹیفکیشن جاری کر دیا۔
نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق سکیورٹی صورت حال کے باعث عدالتی کارروائی متاثر ہونے کے پیش نظر یہ فیصلہ کیا گیا، سائلین اور وکلا کو درپیش مشکلات اور ریڈ زون میں ٹریفک بندش کے باعث عدالت تک رسائی مشکل ہونے کے سبب کاز لسٹ منسوخ کی گئی ہے۔
رجسٹرار آفس کے مطابق انتظامی وجوہ کی بنیاد پر آئندہ تاریخوں کا اعلان بعد میں کیا جائے گا۔
سڑکوں کی بندش کے باعث الیکش کمیشن نے آج ہونے والی سماعتیں ملتوی کر دی ہیں جبکہ متعدد کیسز کو ڈی لسٹ کر دیا گیا ہے، الیکشن کمیشن کے مطابق خیبر پختونخوا سینیٹ کے ضمنی انتخابات کی معطلی سے متعلق درخواست پر بھی آج سماعت نہیں ہوگی۔

According to a notification issued by the government, employees of several ministries and institutions located in the red zone have been instructed to work from home, however, the offices of the Cabinet Division, FBR, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Foreign Affairs will remain open as usual.
According to the notification, the offices of the Ministry of Interior, Narcotics Control, Law and Justice, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Ministry of Industries and Production and Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives will also continue to function as usual.
In addition, the offices of the National Assembly, Senate, Prime Minister’s Secretariat and Revenue Division will also remain open as usual.
The government notification states that there will be a holiday in autonomous institutions and attached departments located in the red zone, while the officers and secretaries of the institutions working from home will remain at their stations. All employees have also been instructed to be ready to reach the office at a short notice.
On the other hand, the cause list of the Federal Constitutional Court has been canceled due to the closure of roads in the red zone. The Registrar’s Office has issued a notification of cancellation of the cause list.
According to the notification, this decision was taken in view of the security situation affecting the court proceedings. The cause list has been canceled due to the difficulties faced by litigants and lawyers and the difficulty in accessing the court due to traffic closure in the red zone.
According to the Registrar’s Office, future dates will be announced later based on administrative reasons.
Due to the closure of roads, the Election Commission has postponed the hearings scheduled for today, while several cases have been delisted. According to the Election Commission, the petition regarding the suspension of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senate by-elections will also not be heard today.
