Ban on PIA flights to Europe lifted

یورپی ایئر سیفٹی ایجنسی ایاسا نے پاکستان انٹرنیشنل ایئر لائنز کی یورپ کیلئے پروازوں پر عائد پابندی ختم کردی۔ترجمان پی آئی اے کے مطابق ایاسا نے پی آئی اے کی ٹیم اور انتظامیہ کو ان کے سخت ترین سٹینڈرڈز پرپورے اترنے پر مبارک باد دی، پی آئی اے ایاسا اور ان کے قوانین اور ضابطوں پر مکمل عمل پیرا رہے گا۔
ترجمان نے کہا کہ پی آئی اے انتظامیہ نے گزشتہ 4 سال کی انتھک محنت کے بعد یہ اہم سنگ میل عبور کیا، اس پابندی کے بعد پوری قوم اب یورپی سیکٹرز پر دوبارہ اپنی قومی ایئرلائن پر براہ راست سفر کر سکے گی۔وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے یورپی کمیشن اور یورپی ایوی ایشن سیفٹی ایجینسی کی جانب سے پاکستان انٹر نیشنل ائیر لائینز کی پروازوں سے پابندی اٹھانے کا خیر مقدم کیا ہے۔
اس پیش رفت پر وزیراعظم نے وفاقی وزیر خواجہ آصف، وزارت ہوابازی، پاکستان سول ایوی ایشن اتھارٹی کے حکام اور پی آئی اے انتظامیہ کو مبارک باد دی اور کہا کہ پابندی اٹھنے سے پی آئی اے کی ساکھ مستحکم ہو گی اور اسے مالی طور پر بھی فائدہ ہو گا۔
وزیردفاع خواجہ آصف نے اپنے بیان میں کہا کہ پی آئی اے کی یورپ کے لیے پروازوں پرعائد پابندی ختم کردی گئی ہے اور مذکورہ عائد پابندی کا ختم ہونا ایک یادگارموقع ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ ایک تاریخی دن ہے، یہ کامیابی وزارت ہوابازی اور سول ایوی ایشن کی جانب سے سیفٹی معیارات یقینی بنانے پرملی ہے اور پاکستانی ایئرلائنز پر عائد معطلی اٹھا لی گئی ہے۔
