انڈر 19 ایشیا کپ میں پاکستان نے فاتحانہ آغاز کرتے ہوئے بھارت کو 43 رنز سے شکست دے دی۔ پہلے شاہزیب نے بھارتی بولرز کی درگت بنائی پھر بولرز نے بھارتی بیٹرز کی ایک نہ چلنے دی۔
دبئی انٹرنیشنل کرکٹ اسٹیڈیم میں کھیلے گئے اس میچ میں قومی انڈر19 ٹیم نے پہلے بیٹنگ کرتے ہوئے مقررہ 50 اوورز میں 7 وکٹوں کے نقصان پر 281 رنز بنائے۔ نوجوان شاہزیب خان نے 159 رنز کی اننگز کھیلی اور بھارتی بولرز کے چھکے چھڑادیے۔ انکی ایک اننگز میں 5 چوکے اور 10 بلند و بالا چھکے شامل تھے۔
انکے علاوہ عثمان خان 60 رنز بنا کر دوسرے ٹاپ اسکورر رہے اور محمد ریاض اللہ 27 رنز کے ساتھ تیسرے قابلِ ذکر بلے باز تھے جبکہ باقی کوئی کھلاڑی دہرے ہندسے میں بھی داخل نہ ہوسکا۔
بھارت انڈر 19 کی جانب سے سمرتھ ناگاراج نے 3 وکٹیں لیں جبکہ ایوش ماہترے دو، یودھاجت گوا اور کرن چورملے نے ایک ایک کھلاڑی کو آؤٹ کیا۔ قومی انڈر 19 ٹیم کے بیٹرز نے روایتی حریف ٹیم کے بلے بازوں کو کھل کر نہ کھیلنے دیا۔
بھارتی ٹیم کے نکھل کمار 67 رنز بنا کر نمایاں رہے۔ ہرونش پنگالیا نے 26، ایوش ماہترے اور کرن چورملے نے 20، 20 جبکہ کپتان محمد امان نے 16، آندھرے سدھارتھ نے 15 اور ہاردیک راج نے 10 رنز بنائے۔
اختتامی لمحات میں محمد احسان نے جارحانہ بیٹنگ کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے اپنی ٹیم کی جیت کی امید پیدا کی، لیکن یہ امید زیادہ دیر برقرار نہ رہ سکی وہ 30 رنز بنانے کے بعد رن آؤٹ ہوگئے اور اسکے ساتھ ہی پوری بھارتی ٹیم 48ویں اوور میں 238 رنز پر آل آؤٹ ہوگئی۔
پاکستان کی جانب سے علی رضا نے 3، عبدالسبحان اور فہام الحق نے دو دو جبکہ نوید احمد اور عثمان خان نے ایک ایک وکٹ لی۔

For India U-19, Samarth Nagaraj took 3 wickets while Ayush Mahatre took two wickets, Yudhajat Goa and Kiran Chormale got one wicket each. The batsmen of the national under-19 team did not allow the batsmen of the traditional rival team to play openly.
Nikhil Kumar of the Indian team stood out by scoring 67 runs. Harunesh Pangalia scored 26, Ayush Mahatre and Kiran Chormale scored 20, 20 while captain Muhammad Aman scored 16, Andre Siddharth scored 15 and Hardik Raj scored 10 runs.
In the closing moments, Mohammad Ehsan gave his team hope of victory by showing aggressive batting, but this hope could not be sustained for long as he was run out after scoring 30 runs and with that the whole Indian team was 238 in the 48th over. All out on runs.
On behalf of Pakistan, Ali Raza took 3 wickets, Abdul Subhan and Fahamul Haq took two wickets each while Naveed Ahmed and Usman Khan took one wicket each.
