محکمہ ہائر ایجوکیشن پنجاب اور سکول ایجوکیشن پنجاب نے نوٹیفکیشن جاری کردیا، نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق تمام سرکاری اور نجی ادارے جمعہ کو بند رہیں گے، چھٹی کا اطلاق تمام سرکاری اور نجی سکولز اور کالجز پر ہو گا، صوبہ بھر کی یونیورسٹیز بھی آج بند رہیں گی۔
دوسری جانب لاہور بورڈ کے تحت انٹرمیڈیٹ پارٹ ٹو کے دوسرے سالانہ امتحان کے جمعہ کو ہونے والے تمام پیپرز بھی ملتوی کردیئے گئے ہیں۔ کنٹرولر امتحانات کے مطابق جمعہ کے روز فزکس، ہوم اکنامکس، جغرافیہ، ایگریکلچر اور نرسنگ کا پیپر لیا جانا تھا، مذکورہ پیپروں کی نئی تاریخ کا اعلان بعد میں کیا جائے گا۔
