Former BRT Yellow Line Project Director Zameer Abbasi arrested

اینٹی کرپشن حکام کے مطابق بی آر ٹی ییلو لائن کے سابق پروجیکٹ ڈائریکٹر ضمیر عباسی کو گرفتار کر لیا گیا، ضمیر عباسی کے خلاف دس جون کو مقدمہ درج کیا گیا تھا، ضمیر عباسی کو لاہور سے کراچی منتقل کرنے کے انتظامات کیے جا رہے ہیں۔
رپورٹ کے مطابق یلو لائن بی آر ٹی کے تین اہم تعمیراتی منصوبوں کا جائزہ لیا گیا، جن میں نیو جام صادق پل، داؤد چورنگی ڈپو ون اور انڈس اسپتال ڈپو ٹو شامل ہیں۔
اینٹی کرپشن حکام کی رپورٹ میں کہا گیا ہے کہ منصوبے میں مالی نظم و ضبط کو مبینہ طور پر بری طرح نظر انداز کیا گیا۔ رپورٹ کے مطابق سابق پروجیکٹ ڈائریکٹر ضمیر عباسی نے مبینہ طور پر ٹھیکیداروں کو فائدہ پہنچایا جب کہ ضمیر عباسی اور ڈائریکٹر پروکیورمنٹ جھامن داس پر اختیارات کے مبینہ ناجائز استعمال کا الزام بھی عائد کیا گیا ہے۔
واضح رہے کہ 7 ارب سے زائد رقم غیرقانونی طور پر ٹھیکیداروں کو جاری کرنے کا انکشاف سامنے آیا۔

According to anti-corruption officials, former project director of BRT Yellow Line Zameer Abbasi was arrested. A case was registered against Zameer Abbasi on June 10. Arrangements are being made to shift Zameer Abbasi from Lahore to Karachi.
According to the report, three important construction projects of Yellow Line BRT were reviewed, including New Jam Sadiq Bridge, Dawood Chowrangi Depot One and Indus Hospital Depot Two.
The report of anti-corruption officials states that financial discipline was allegedly neglected in the project. According to the report, former project director Zameer Abbasi allegedly benefited contractors, while Zameer Abbasi and Director Procurement Jhaman Das have also been accused of alleged misuse of authority.
It should be noted that it was revealed that more than 7 billion rupees were illegally released to contractors.
