چیف آف آرمی سٹاف جنرل سید عاصم منیر نے کہا ہے کہ کسی نے پاکستان میں انتشار کی کوشش کی تو رب کریم کی قسم ہم اس کے آگے کھڑے ہوں گے، دنیا کی کوئی تطاقت پاکستان کو نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکتی کیونکہ یہ ملک قائم رہنے کے لیے بنا ہے۔
وزیر اعظم اور چیف آف آرمی سٹاف جنرل سید عاصم منیر نے نیشنل علما کنونشن سے تاریخی خطاب کیا۔ اپنے خطاب میں چیف آف آرمی سٹاف جنرل سید عاصم منیر نے کہا کہ اللہ کے نزدیک سب سے بڑا جرم فساد فی الارض ہے، پاک فوج اللہ کے حکم کے مطابق فساد فی الارض کے خاتمے کے لئے جدوجہد کر رہی ہے، ہم لوگوں کو کہتے ہیں کہ اگر احتجاج کرنا ہے تو ضرور کریں لیکن پُر امن رہیں۔
آرمی چیف جنرل سید عاصم منیر نے کہا کہ جو شریعت اور آئین کو نہیں مانتے، ہم انہیں پاکستانی نہیں مانتے، پاکستان نے 40 سال سے زیادہ عرصے تک لاکھوں افغانیوں کی مہمان نوازی کی ہے، ہم انہیں سمجھا رہے ہیں کہ فتنۂ خوارج کی خاطر اپنے ہمسایہ، برادر اسلامی ملک اور دیرینہ دوست سے مخالفت نہ کریں۔
جنرل سید عاصم منیر نے کہا کہ دہشت گردی کی جنگ میں ہمارے پختون بھائیوں اور خیبر پختونخوا کے عوام نے بہت قربانیاں دی ہیں اور ہم اُن کی کاوشوں کو سراہتے ہوئے ان کے ساتھ کھڑے ہیں۔
آرمی چیف نے کہا کہ خوارج ایک بہت بڑا فتنہ ہیں، جن کے بارے میں علامہ اقبال نے فرمایا تھا:
“اللہ سے کرے دور تو تعلیم بھی فتنہ
املاک بھی اولاد بھی جاگیر بھی فتنہ
ناحق کے لئے اٹھے تو شمشیر بھی فتنہ
شمشیر ہی کیا نعرۂ تکبیر بھی فتنہ”
جنرل سید عاصم منیر نے شدت پسندی پر بات کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کا فرمان ہے کہ دین میں جبر نہیں ہے ، جرائم اور سمگلرز مافیا دہشت گردی کی پشت پناہی کر رہے ہیں، سوشل میڈٰیا کے ذریعے انتشار پھیلایا جاتا ہے۔
ناموس رسالتؐ پر بات کرتے ہُوئے آرمی چیف نے کہا کسی کی ہمت نہیں جو رسول پاکؐ کی شان میں گستاخی کر سکے، علما و مشائخ سے التماس ہے کہ وہ شدت پسندی یا تفریق کی بجائے تحمل اور اتحاد کی ترغیب دیں، علما کو چاہئے کہ وہ اعتدال پسندی کو معاشرے میں واپس لائیں اور فساد فی الارض کی نفی کریں۔
جنرل سید عاصم منیر نے کہا کہ اس پاکستان پر لاکھوں عاصم منیر، لاکھوں سیاستدان اور لاکھوں علما قربان کیونکہ پاکستان ہم سے زیادہ اہم ہے، اگر ریاست کی اہمیت جاننی ہے تو عراق، شام اور لیبیا سے پوچھو، مغربی تہذیب اور رہن سہن ہمارا آئیڈیل نہیں ہے، ہمیں اپنی تہذیب پر فخر ہونا چاہئے۔
اقبال کا شعر پڑھ کر آرمی چیف نے کہا:
اپنی ملت پر قياس اقوام مغرب سے نہ کر
خاص ہے ترکيب ميں قوم رسول ہاشمی
ان کی جمعيت کا ہے ملک و نسب پر انحصار
قوت مذہب سے مستحکم ہے جمعيت تری

آرمی چیف نے کہا کہ جو یہ کہتے تھے کہ ہم نے دو قومی نظریئے کو خلیج بنگال میں ڈبو دیا ہے، وہ آج کہاں ہیں؟ کشمیر تقسیم پاک وہند کا ایک نامکمل ایجنڈا ہے، فلسطین اور غزہ پر ڈھائے جانے والے مظالم دیکھ کر دل خون کے آنسو روتا ہے، فلسطین سے ہمیں یہ سبق ملتا ہے کہ ہم نے اپنی حفاظت خود کرنی ہے اور پاکستان کو مضبوط بنانا ہے۔

General Syed Asim Munir said that our Pakhtun brothers and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have made a lot of sacrifices in the war against terrorism and we stand by them appreciating their efforts.
The Army Chief said that the Khawarij are a great temptation, about whom Allama Iqbal had said:
“Keep away from Allah, education is also a temptation
Property, children, estates, temptations
If you stand up for the unjust, the sword is also temptation
The slogan Takbeer is only a sword, but also a temptation.
Speaking on extremism, General Syed Asim Munir said that Allah says that there is no coercion in religion, criminals and smugglers are supporting mafia terrorism, chaos is spread through social media.
Talking about the Holy Prophet, the Army Chief said that no one has the courage to insult the glory of the Holy Prophet. He is begging the scholars and elders to encourage tolerance and unity instead of extremism or division. The scholars should Bring moderation back into society and reject corruption.
General Syed Asim Munir said that millions of Asim Munir, millions of politicians and millions of scholars are sacrificed for this Pakistan because Pakistan is more important than us. If you want to know the importance of the state, ask Iraq, Syria and Libya. Western civilization and lifestyle is our ideal. No, we should be proud of our culture.

Do not compare your nation with the nations of the West
Rasool Hashemi nation is special in composition
Their population is dependent on country and lineage
The power of religion is strong

The Army Chief said that those who used to say that we have drowned the two nation theory in the Bay of Bengal, where are they today? Partition of Kashmir is an incomplete agenda of Pakistan and India, the heart cries tears of blood after seeing atrocities on Palestine and Gaza, we learn from Palestine that we have to protect ourselves and strengthen Pakistan.
