6.9 magnitude earthquake, tsunami warning alert in Japan

A tsunami warning has been issued in the country after a magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck the southern region of Japan. The tsunami warning has been extended to Kagoshima and Ehime. Initially, there were no reports of injuries or casualties.
