The Army Chief reiterated his commitment to promote traditional defense cooperation with Russia

پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ کے مطابق آرمی چیف جنرل سید عاصم منیر سے روسی نائب وزیراعظم الیکسی اوور چوک کی ملاقات ہوئی۔آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق جی ایچ کیو میں ہونے والی ملاقات میں باہمی دلچسپی کے امور، علاقائی سلامتی اور مختلف شعبوں میں دوطرفہ تعاون پر گفتگو ہوئی۔
آرمی چیف جنرل سید عاصم منیر نے روس کے ساتھ روایتی دفاعی تعاون کو فروغ دینے کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا، فریقین نے سکیورٹی اور دفاعی تعاون کو مضبوط بنانے کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔ پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ کے مطابق روسی نائب وزیراعظم نے دہشت گردی کیخلاف جنگ میں پاکستان کی مسلح افواج کے کردار کی تعریف کی۔
