اسلام آباد: پاکستان تحریک انصاف نے شیخ وقاص اکرم کو چیئرمین پبلک اکاؤنٹس کمیٹی (پی اے سی) بنانے کا فیصلہ کر لیا۔پی ٹی آئی رہنما شیر افضل مروت اور سربراہ سنی اتحاد کونسل حامد رضا دونوں ہی چیئرمین پی اے سی بننے کی دوڑ سے باہر ہوگئے۔ ذرائع کے مطابق تحریک انصاف کی سیاسی کمیٹی نے شیخ وقاص اکرم کے نام کی منظوری دے دی۔یاد رہے کہ بانی پی ٹی آئی عمران خان نے پہلے شیرافضل مروت کو چیئرمین پبلک اکاؤنٹس کمیٹی کے لئے نامزد کیاتھا۔ تاہم ان کے نام پر پارٹی میں شدید اختلافات سامنے آئے تو ان کے بجائے  بانی پی ٹی آئی نے سربراہ سنی اتحاد کونسل حامد رضا کو چیئرمین پبلک اکاؤنٹس کمیٹی نامزد کردیا تھا۔
