The government does not trust the judges of Lahore, Islamabad High Court: Chief Justice Lahore High Court

چیف جسٹس لاہور ہائیکورٹ ملک شہزاد احمد خان نے بانی پی ٹی آئی عمران خان، شاہ محمود قریشی سمیت دیگر ملزمان کی 9 مئی کیسز راولپنڈی کی عدالت سے دوسری عدالت میں منتقل کرنے کے لیے حکومتی درخواست پر سماعت کی۔چیف جسٹس ملک شہزاد احمد خان نے ریمارکس دیتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ ججوں پر دباؤ ڈالنے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں یہ افسوسناک ہے، ملک کو مذاق بنا دیا گیا، جو جج پسند نہ آئے اس کے خلاف تقریریں شروع کردیں یہ نیا ٹرینڈ شروع ہوگیا ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ بتائیں کیا جج کی مخالف پارٹی سے رشتہ داری ہے یا اس نے پیسے پکڑے ہیں؟ جیل میں کونسا خطرہ ہے؟ کیا ججز آسمان پر بیٹھ کر سماعت کریں؟ یہ کہاں لکھا ہے جج کے خلاف ریفرنس آئے گا تو وہ کام بند کر دے گا؟
چیف جسٹس لاہور ہائی کورٹ نے ریمارکس دیئے کہ حکومت میں بیٹھے ہوئے لوگ من پسند جج کے پاس کیسز لگوانا چاہتے ہیں، حکومت کو نہ لاہور ہائیکورٹ اور نہ اسلام آباد ہائیکورٹ کے ججز پر اعتبار ہے۔
اس موقع پر پراسیکیوٹر جنرل پنجاب نے کہا کہ ہمارا کسی جج کے ساتھ ذاتی مسئلہ نہیں ہے، جس پر چیف جسٹس ملک شہزاد احمد خان نے کہا کہ پراسیکیوٹر صاحب یہ حکومت کا ذاتی مسئلہ ہی ہے۔
بعدازاں لاہور ہائی کورٹ نے حکومت پنجاب کی دو، دو لاکھ روپے جرمانے کے ساتھ بانی پی ٹی آئی عمران خان اور شاہ محمود قریشی کے کیسز کی دوسری عدالت منتقلی کی درخواستیں خارج کر دیں۔

Chief Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmad Khan While giving remarks, he said that it is sad that they are trying to put pressure on the judges, the country has been made a joke, the judges who don’t like them start giving speeches against it, this new trend has started.
He said that tell me whether the judge has a relationship with the opposite party or has he caught money? What is the danger in prison? Do judges sit in the sky and hear? Where is it written that if there is a reference against the judge, he will stop working?
The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court remarked that the people sitting in the government want to refer cases to their favorite judge, the government has no faith in the judges of Lahore High Court or Islamabad High Court.
On this occasion, the Prosecutor General Punjab said that we do not have a personal problem with any judge, on which Chief Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmed Khan said that this is a personal problem of the government.
Later, the Lahore High Court rejected the Punjab government’s requests to transfer the cases of PTI founder Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi to another court with a fine of Rs. 5 lacs
