بانئ پی ٹی آئی کی اہلیہ بشریٰ بی بی کی توشہ خانہ ریفرنس 2 میں ضمانت بعد از گرفتاری سپریم کورٹ میں چیلنج کر دی گئی۔وفاقی تحقیقاتی ایجنسی (ایف آئی اے) نے اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ کے ضمانت منظوری کے فیصلے کے خلاف سپریم کورٹ میں اپیل دائر کر دی۔ایف آئی اے نے درخواست میں مؤقف اپنایا ہے کہ بشریٰ بی بی کی ضمانت منظوری کا فیصلہ غیر قانونی اور ریکارڈ کے بر خلاف ہے، اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ کے سنگل رکنی بینچ نے ضمانت بعد از گرفتاری کے اصولوں اور گائیڈ لائنز کو مدِنظر نہیں رکھا.درخواست میں کہا گیا ہے کہ بشریٰ بی بی نے اپنے خاوند کے ساتھ مل کر عوام کے اعتماد کو ٹھیس پہنچائی، انہوں نے اپنے خاوند کے ساتھ مل کر ریاستی تحفے بلغاری جیولری سیٹ کا غلط استعمال کیا۔ایف آئی اے نے درخواست میں کہا ہے کہ بشریٰ بی بی کے خاوند کے اختیارات کے غلط استعمال سے قومی خزانے کو نقصان پہنچا، اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ نے بشریٰ بی بی کے خلاف استغاثہ کے شواہد کو نظر انداز کیا، عدالت نے ریکارڈ پر موجود قابلِ جرم شواہد کو نظر انداز کرتے ہوئے ضمانت فراہم کی.
