قصور کی تحصیل کھڈیاں خاص میں شجرکاری مہم کے افتتاح کے موقع پر میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے ملک احمد خان کا کہنا تھا کہ اپوزیشن کے حقوق کا محافظ بن کر بیٹھا ہوں، اپوزیشن لیڈر کی تقریر کے دوران حکومت بینچز کو خاموش رہنے کا پابند کرتا ہوں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ اجلاس کے دوران اپوزیشن ارکان کی غیر اخلاقی حرکات کو برداشت نہیں کیا جاسکتا۔ ملک احمد خان کا شجرکاری کے حوالے سے کہنا تھا کہ سکولوں میں شجرکاری مہم سے متعلق آگاہی دینا ہوگی، شعبہ تعلیم شجرکاری مہم میں ہراول دستے کا کردار ادا کر سکتا ہے، شجرکاری کو نصاب میں شامل کرنا ہوگا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ درخت لگائیں اور پروان چڑھنے تک ان کی حفاظت بھی کریں، شجرکاری مہم میں عوام کا تعاون بہت ضروری ہے، لگے پودے نظر آتے ہیں اپنے ثمرات بھی دیتے ہیں، بلین ٹری بھی خیبرپختونخوا کے بھائیوں کی کوشش تھی۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ پاکستان موسمیاتی تبدیلی کے حوالے سے خطرناک ملک بنتا جا رہا ہے، پلاسٹک کے استعمال کو روکنا قومی فریضہ سمجھیں اور اسے روکیں۔ سپیکر پنجاب اسمبلی نے مزید کہا کہ ارشد ندیم قومی ہیرو ہے، ارشد ندیم نے ناصرف پاکستان کا مقدمہ لڑا بلکہ جیتا بھی ہے، ارشد ندیم کو پنجاب اسمبلی میں خوش آمدید کریں گے۔

He said that immoral actions of opposition members cannot be tolerated during the meeting. Malik Ahmad Khan said regarding plantation, that awareness about plantation campaign should be given in schools, education department can play a leading role in plantation campaign, plantation should be included in curriculum.
He said that plant trees and protect them till they grow up, public support is very important in the planting campaign, planted trees are visible and bear their fruits, Bullen Tree was also an effort of the brothers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that Pakistan is becoming a dangerous country in terms of climate change, consider stopping the use of plastic as a national duty and stop it. Speaker Punjab Assembly further said that Arshad Nadeem is a national hero, Arshad Nadeem not only fought the case of Pakistan but also won, Arshad Nadeem will be welcomed in Punjab Assembly.’
