Uproar in Punjab Assembly, Speaker’s announcement to form ethics committee

لاہور میں میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے سپیکر پنجاب اسمبلی ملک محمد احمد خان کا کہنا تھا کہ اسمبلی کا ماحول بہتر بنانے کیلئے ایتھکس کمیٹی بنا رہے ہیں، اخلاقیات کو برقرار رکھنے کیلئے ایتھکس کمیٹی کام کرے گی۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ جمہوریت کی روایات کی پاسداری بہت ضروری ہے، پارلیمان کی توقیر واحترام سب پر لازم ہے، ہمیں ایک ضابطہ اخلاق بنا لینا چاہیے، مقدس ایوان کے تقدس کا خیال رکھنا سب کی ذمہ داری ہے، اس کی تنزلی اپنے ذاتی مفادات کی خاطر کی جا رہی ہے، پہلے اس ایوان میں نعرے بازی کی جاتی تھی لیکن اب ماں بہن کی گالیاں دی جاتی ہیں جو قابل قبول نہیں۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ایوان کو چلانا میری ذمہ داری ہے، کسی صورت ماحول خراب نہیں ہونے دوں گا، ہم گندی زبان استعمال کر کے ایک دوسرے کو اشتعال نہیں دلانا چاہیے، احتجاج سب کا حق ہے، اب احتجاج غلیظ گالیوں تک پہنچ چکا ہے، پہلے ہلڑ بازی، شورشرابا تھا اب بات گالم گلوچ تک پہنچ گئی ہے۔

Speaking to the media in Lahore, Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan said that an ethics committee is being formed to improve the environment of the assembly, and the ethics committee will work to maintain ethics.
He said that the observance of the traditions of democracy is very important, respect and respect for the parliament is necessary for everyone, we should make a code of conduct, it is everyone’s responsibility to take care of the sanctity of the holy house, its degradation is for personal interests. It is being noted, earlier slogans were raised in this house, but now mothers and sisters are abused, which is not acceptable.
He said that it is my responsibility to run the house, I will not let the environment deteriorate under any circumstances, we should not provoke each other by using dirty language, protest is everyone’s right, now the protest has reached the level of abusive language. Earlier, there was a lot of noise, but now it has reached a level of blasphemy.
