Philippines: School shooting, 3 dead, 5 injured
پولیس کے مطابق واقعے کے بعد 2 مشتبہ افراد کو حراست میں لے لیا گیا ہے، جن میں سے ایک مبینہ طور پر اسکول ہی کا 15 سالہ نویں جماعت کا طالب علم ہے۔
غیر ملکی میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق واقعہ آج (پیر کی) صبح تقریباً 9 بجے سین جوس نیشنل ہائی اسکول میں پیش آیا، جس سے علاقے میں خوف و ہراس پھیل گیا۔ رپورٹس کے مطابق ایک مشتبہ شخص کو موقع پر ہی گرفتار کر لیا گیا جسے قانون کے مطابق ’چائلڈ ان کانفلیکٹ ود دی لاء‘ قرار دیا گیا ہے اور جو بارنگے سان ہوزے کا رہائشی ہے۔
پولیس نے دوسرے مشتبہ شخص کا تعاقب کر کے اسے بھی گرفتار کر لیا اور اس کے قبضے سے مبینہ طور پر استعمال ہونے والا اسلحہ برآمد کر لیا۔
ابتدائی تحقیقات کے مطابق یہ فائرنگ مبینہ طور پر ملزمان کی جانب سے کی جانے والی بُلنگ (ہراسانی) کا نتیجہ ہو سکتی ہے۔
پولیس کے مطابق اسکول میں اضافی پولیس کی نفری تعینات کر دی گئی ہے تاکہ طلبہ، اساتذہ، والدین اور قریبی کمیونٹی کی حفاظت کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔
ابتدائی رپورٹ کے مطابق واقعے کی مزید تحقیقات جاری ہیں۔
According to police, two suspects have been taken into custody following the incident, one of whom is allegedly a 15-year-old ninth-grader of the school.
According to foreign media reports, the incident occurred at around 9 a.m. today (Monday) at San Jose National High School, causing panic in the area. According to reports, one suspect was arrested on the spot, who has been declared a ‘child in conflict with the law’ and is a resident of Barangay San Jose.
Police chased and arrested the second suspect and recovered the weapon allegedly used from his possession.
According to initial investigations, the shooting may have been the result of bullying by the suspects.
According to police, additional police personnel have been deployed at the school to ensure the safety of students, teachers, parents and the nearby community.
