Police should control crime: Maryam Nawaz

وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف کی زیر صدارت خصوصی اجلاس ہوا جس میں صوبے بھر میں امن و امان کی صورتحال کا جائزہ لیا گیا، آئی جی پنجاب نے امن و امان کی مجموعی صورتحال اور پولیس کی کارکردگی کے بارے میں بریفنگ دی۔اس موقع پر مریم نواز کا کہنا تھا کہ 13 کروڑ عوام کو جوابدہ ہوں، پولیس کرائم کنٹرول کرے، حقائق سے آنکھیں بند نہیں کی جا سکتی، پنجاب میں کسی جگہ پر بھی نو گو ایریا برداشت نہیں، صوبے بھر میں کرائم ریٹ کو ہر صورت نیچے لانا ہوگا، جرائم زیادہ ہو تو عوام حکومت کی ریفارمز اور ڈویلپمنٹ بھول جاتی ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ پولیس قربانی بھی دے رہی ہے مگر کالی بھیڑیں بھی موجود ہیں، پولیس کے ساتھ ہوں، فورس کے پیچھے کھڑی ہوں، یونیفارم پہن کر اظہار یکجہتی کیا، پولیس کو پورے وسائل مہیا کر رہے ہیں تاکہ کارکردگی میں کمی نہ آئے۔
وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب کا کہنا تھا کہ کرپشن کے خاتمے کیلئے پولیس میں کارکردگی کے تجزیے اور جانچ کا نظام لا رہے ہیں، بین الصوبائی سمگلنگ روکنے کیلئے 14 خصوصی چیک پوسٹ بنائی جا رہی ہیں، گاڑیاں، آلات، اسلحہ، ٹریننگ اور پولیس کی ہر ڈیمانڈ پوری کر رہے ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ چیک پوسٹ پر کھڑے ہر پولیس اہلکار کی حفاظت کو یقینی بنانا ذمہ داری ہے، ڈی جی خان ماڈل پر صوبے بھر میں بجلی چوری کے سدباب کے لئے موثر کارروائی کی جائے، بجلی چوری ختم ہوگی تو لوڈشیڈنگ بھی صفر ہو جائیگی۔

A special meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif in which the law and order situation was reviewed across the province, IG Punjab gave a briefing about the overall law and order situation and police performance. Nawaz said that 13 crore people should be accountable, the police should control crime, the facts cannot be closed, no-go area cannot be tolerated at any place in Punjab, the crime rate must be brought down in any case. If the crimes are high, people forget the reforms and development of the government.
He said that the police are also giving sacrifices, but there are also black sheep, they are with the police, they stand behind the force, they show solidarity by wearing uniforms, they are providing all the resources to the police so that the efficiency does not decrease.
The Chief Minister of Punjab said that for the elimination of corruption, a performance analysis and evaluation system is being introduced in the police, 14 special check posts are being created to stop inter-provincial smuggling, vehicles, equipment, weapons, training and every demand of the police is being met. are doing
He said that it is the responsibility to ensure the safety of every policeman standing at the check post, effective action should be taken on the DG Khan model to tackle electricity theft across the province, if electricity theft ends then load shedding will also become zero.
