محکمہ داخلہ نے پنجاب کی تمام جیلوں میں سولر لگانے کا منصوبہ فائنل کر لیا  ، سولر لگنے سے خزانے کو کروڑوں روپے کی بچت ہوگی۔
 ہوم سیکرٹری پنجاب نورالامین مینگل نے جیلوں میں فوری طور پر سولر لگوانے کا حکم دے دیا ہے۔ پنجاب کی تمام جیلوں میں سولر پینلز لگائے جائیں گے۔ سولر لگنے سے خزانے کو بجلی کے بھاری بھرکم بلوں کی مد میں کروڑوں روپے کی بچت ہوگی۔ محکمہ داخلہ نے جیلوں میں سولر لگانے کے پراجیکٹ کو حتمی شکل دیدی ہے۔ محکمہ داخلہ نے تمام جیلوں سے سولر لگانے کا تخمینہ مانگ لیا ہے۔ تخمینے کی وصولی کے بعد محکمہ خزانہ فنڈز جاری کر دے گا۔
