وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز نے کہا ہے کہ اقلیتوں کے جان اور مال کے تحفظ کو ریڈ لائن قرار دے کر یقینی بنایا جا رہا ہے۔وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نوازنے ہندو برادری کے تہوار ہولی پر پیغام جاری کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ رنگوں کا یہ خوبصورت تہوار ہولی محبت، امن اور بھائی چارے کی علامت ہے، پاکستان مختلف مذاہب کی برادریوں کا حسین امتزاج ہے، سب کو یکساں حقوق و مواقع میسر ہیں، دعا ہے یہ دن سب کے لیے خوشیوں، محبت اور بین المذاہت ہم آہنگی کا پیغام لے کر آئے۔
مریم نواز نے کہا ہے کہ پنجاب صوفیاء، محبت اور رواداری کی دھرتی ہے، یہاں ہر مذہب، ہر برادری کو مکمل احترام حاصل ہے، ایسا پنجاب بنا رہے ہیں جہاں ہر شہری خود کو محفوظ، بااختیار اور برابر کا پاکستانی محسوس کرے۔
وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے کہا ہے کہ حکومت پنجاب اقلیتوں کے تحفظ اور فلاح و بہبود کے لیے عملی اقدامات کر رہی ہے، اقلیتی برادری کے افراد کو تعلیم، صحت، روزگار اور دیگر بنیادی سہولیات یکساں طور پر فراہم کی جارہی ہیں۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا ہے کہ منیارٹی کارڈ کے ذریعے نادار اقلیتی بہن بھائیوں کی ہینڈ ہولڈنگ کی جارہی ہے، اقلیتوں کے مذہبی تہواروں کے لیے گرانٹس میں اضافہ کیا گیا ہے، ادارے کے بجٹ میں بھی اضافہ کیا ہے، پنجاب حکومت اقلیتوں کے مذہبی اور ثقافتی تہواروں کو سرکاری سطح پر منانے کا بھی اہتمام کر رہی ہے۔

Maryam Nawaz has said that Punjab is a land of Sufis, love and tolerance. Every religion and every community is fully respected here. We are making a Punjab where every citizen feels safe, empowered and an equal Pakistani.
The Punjab Chief Minister has said that the Punjab government is taking practical steps for the protection and welfare of minorities. Education, health, employment and other basic facilities are being provided equally to the members of the minority community.
He further said that the handholding of needy minority brothers and sisters is being done through the Minority Card, grants have been increased for religious festivals of minorities, the budget of the institution has also been increased, and the Punjab government is also making arrangements to celebrate religious and cultural festivals of minorities at the official level.
