European Union Ambassador meets Shahbaz Sharif
وزیراعظم شہباز شریف سے یورپی یونین کی سفیر ڈاکٹر رینا کیونکا نے ملاقات کی اور ٹرین پر حملے پر اظہار تعزیت کیا۔وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے ٹرین پر حالیہ دہشتگردانہ حملے کے اظہار تعزیت پر سفیر یورپی یونین کا شکریہ ادا کیا، وزیر اعظم نے ملک سے دہشت گردی کے عفریت کے خاتمے کیلئے پاکستان کے پختہ عزم کا اظہار کیا۔
شہباز شریف نے کہا کہ پاکستان اور یورپی یونین کے درمیان دیرینہ دوستانہ تعلقات ہیں، وزیراعظم نے ان تعلقات میں مثبت پیش رفت پر اطمینان کا اظہار کیا۔
وزیراعظم نے یورپی یونین کے ساتھ مبنی شراکت داری، جی ایس پی پلس سکیم کو مزید مضبوط بنانے کی خواہش کا اعادہ کیا۔دونوں رہنماؤں نے انسانی حقوق سمیت پاکستان اور یورپی یونین کے تعلقات کے مختلف پہلوؤں پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔
وزیراعظم نے مئی میں پہلے پاکستان – یورپی یونین کے اعلیٰ سطح بزنس فورم کے انعقاد کا خیرمقدم کیا اور یورپی یونین سفیر کو اس تقریب کو کامیاب بنانے میں مکمل تعاون اور سہولت کا یقین دلایا۔
سفیر یورپی یونین نے وزیراعظم شہباز شریف کو حالیہ پاکستان کے دوروں کے ساتھ ساتھ آئندہ دوروں کے بارے میں بھی آگاہ کیا۔
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was met by EU Ambassador Dr. Reena Kiyonka and expressed her condolences over the train attack. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked the EU Ambassador for her condolences over the recent terrorist attack on the train. The Prime Minister expressed Pakistan’s firm resolve to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country.
Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan and the European Union have long-standing friendly relations, and the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the positive progress in these relations.
The Prime Minister reiterated his desire to further strengthen the partnership with the European Union, the GSP Plus scheme. The two leaders discussed various aspects of Pakistan-EU relations, including human rights.
The Prime Minister welcomed the holding of the first Pakistan-EU High-Level Business Forum in May and assured the EU Ambassador of full cooperation and facilitation in making the event a success.
The EU Ambassador briefed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif about recent visits to Pakistan as well as upcoming visits.
