Maryam Nawaz sets target of constructing 20,000 houses across the province in February

وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز نے آئندہ ماہ صوبہ بھر میں 20 ہزار گھروں کی تعمیر کا ہدف دے دیا۔وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز کی زیر صدارت خصوصی اجلاس ہوا جس میں اپنی چھت اپنا گھر پروگرام کے منصوبے پر پیش رفت کا تفصیلی جائزہ لیا گیا۔
اجلاس میں پنجاب میں بے گھر شہریوں کو مفت پلاٹ دینے کیلئے سکیم کا تفصیلی جائزہ بھی لیا گیا، سفارشات اور تجاویز پر غور کر کے 9 ہزار 15 مکانوں کی تعمیر کے لئے 8 ارب 20 کروڑ روپے کے قرضے جاری کئے گئے۔
اجلاس میں بریفنگ دیتے ہوئے بتایا گیا کہ 2050 افراد کو مکانات کی تعمیرات کیلئے قرض کی دوسری قسط بھی مل گئی، اپنی چھت اپنا گھر پروگرام کے تحت 4841 گھر زیر تکمیل ہیں، اپنی چھت اپنا گھر پورٹل پر وزٹ کرنے والے شہریوں کی تعداد 7 لاکھ 28 ہزار سے بڑھ گئی ہے۔
بریفنگ کے مطابق اپنی چھت اپنا گھر پروگرام کیلئے تقریباً 4 لاکھ سے زائد درخواستیں مکمل دستاویزات کے ساتھ آ گئی ہیں، 74 ہزار سے زائد ڈرافٹ درخواستیں بھی اپنی چھت اپنا گھر پورٹل میں جمع ہیں۔
وزیراعلیٰ مریم نواز شریف کی ہدایت پر 3 اور 5 مرلے کی ہاؤسنگ سکیموں کا تفصیلی جائزہ لیا گیا، عوام کو فری پلاٹ دینے کے لئے ٹی او آرز طے کرنے کے لئے 8 رکنی کمیٹی قائم کر دی گئی، وزیراعلیٰ نے پنجاب میں گھر بنانے کا ہدف پورا کرنے کا حکم دے دیا۔

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has set a target of constructing 20,000 houses across the province next month. A special meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in which the progress of the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar program was reviewed in detail.
The meeting also reviewed the scheme to provide free plots to homeless citizens in Punjab, and after considering the recommendations and suggestions, loans worth Rs 8.2 billion were issued for the construction of 9,015 houses.
While giving a briefing in the meeting, it was informed that 2,050 people have also received the second installment of loans for the construction of houses, 4,841 houses are under completion under the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar program, and the number of citizens visiting the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar portal has increased to 728,000.
According to the briefing, more than 400,000 applications have been received for the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar program with complete documents, and more than 74,000 draft applications have also been submitted to the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar portal.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a detailed review of 3 and 5 marla housing schemes was conducted, an 8-member committee was formed to finalize TORs to provide free plots to the public, the Chief Minister ordered to meet the target of building houses in Punjab.
