Negotiation committee meeting ends due to PTI’s non-participation, committee to remain in place announced

سپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے پی ٹی آئی کی عدم شرکت پر آج مذاکراتی کمیٹی کا اجلاس ملتوی کردیا تاہم کمیٹی کو برقرار رکھنے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے۔
سپیکر ایاز صادق نے اجلاس سے قبل گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ گزشتہ اجلاس میں فیصلہ ہوا تھا کہ 7 ورکنگ دنوں میں دوبارہ اجلاس ہوگا، آج 7 دن پورے ہوگئے، اس متعلق ہم نے سب کو اجلاس کی دعوت دی، توقع تھی کہ اپوزیشن کے ارکان آئیں گے۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ہم نے 45 منٹ انتظار کیا، ان کی طرف سے پیغام آیا کہ وہ نہیں آئیں گے،میں نے پی ٹی آئی سے رابطہ کیا ہے، پی ٹی آئی ارکان نے کہا ہے کہ ہم اپنی اعلیٰ قیادت سے رابطہ کرکے بتائیں گے، ہم اپنا اجلاس کریں گے اس میں دیکھتے ہیں کیا ہوتا ہے۔
ایاز صادق کا کہنا تھا کہ اپوزیشن کی غیر موجودگی کی وجہ سے مذاکرات نہیں چل سکے، اس میٹنگ کو آگے رکھنے کا کوئی مقصد نہیں بنتا، اس لیے آج کی میٹنگ ملتوی کررہے ہیں لیکن میرے دروازے کھلے ہیں توقع رکھتا ہوں مذاکرات جاری رکھے جائیں گے۔
سپیکر قومی اسمبلی نے اعلان کیا کہ مذاکراتی کمیٹی قائم رہے گی اسے تحلیل نہیں کررہے۔
اس موقع پر گفتگو کرتے ہوئے نائب وزیراعظم اسحاق ڈار نے کہا کہ ہم اگر اجلاس میں آئے ہیں تو کچھ نہ کچھ لے کر آئے ہوں گے، ہم نے پی ٹی آئی کے مطالبات کا جواب تیار کیا ہوا ہے، ہماری مثبت کوشش ہے کہ بات چیت آگے بڑھے، اس سے پہلے بھی مذاکرات ہوتے رہے ہیں۔
اسحاق ڈار کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ امید کرتے ہیں وہ آئیں گے ہم جواب دیں گے اور ہم جواب دینا چاہتے تھے، جب تک آئیں گے نہیں تو جواب کیسے دیں گے، مذاکرات ہی سیاسی استحکام کا واحد راستہ ہے، 2014 کا دھرنا بھی مذاکرات کے بعد ہی ختم ہوا تھا۔
رانا ثنا اللہ نے اس حوالے سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ مذاکرات کے علاوہ کوئی راستہ نہیں ہے، پی ٹی آئی کو مذاکرات کی میز پر آنا پڑے گا ، پی ٹی آئی کا یہ رویہ دس بارہ سال سے ہے، پی ٹی آئی کے مطالبات پر بات ہوسکتی ہے ، پی ٹی آئی نے پبلک میں جواب دیا تو ہمیں بھی جواب دینا پڑا۔

The Speaker of the National Assembly postponed the meeting of the negotiation committee today due to the non-participation of the PTI, however, it has been decided to maintain the committee.
Speaking before the meeting, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq said that in the previous meeting, it was decided that there would be another meeting in 7 working days, today 7 days have passed, in this regard, we invited everyone to the meeting, it was expected that the opposition members would come.
He said that we waited for 45 minutes, a message came from them that they would not come, I have contacted the PTI, the PTI members have said that we will contact our top leadership and tell them, we will hold our meeting and see what happens.
Ayaz Sadiq said that due to the absence of the opposition, the negotiations could not take place, there is no point in holding this meeting, therefore today’s meeting is being postponed but my doors are open, I expect the negotiations to continue.
The Speaker of the National Assembly announced that the negotiation committee will remain in place and is not dissolving it.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar said that if we have come to the meeting, we must have brought something or the other. We have prepared a response to the demands of the PTI. Our positive effort is to move the talks forward. Negotiations have been going on before.
Ishaq Dar further said that we hope they will come, we will respond and we wanted to respond. If they do not come, how will we respond? Negotiations are the only way to political stability. The 2014 sit-in also ended after negotiations.
Rana Sanaullah, speaking in this regard, said that there is no other way than negotiations. PTI will have to come to the negotiating table. This attitude of the PTI has been there for ten to twelve years. PTI’s demands can be discussed. When the PTI responded in public, we also had to respond.
