The last chance of the court for the Punjab government to appoint judges

لاہور ہائیکورٹ میں انسداد دہشتگری عدالت ون راولپنڈی سے کیسز دوسری عدالت میں منتقل کرنے کی پنجاب حکومت کی درخواست پر چیف جسٹس ملک شہزاد احمد خان نے سماعت کی۔
دوران سماعت ایڈووکیٹ جنرل پنجاب نے عدالت کو بتایا کہ حکومتی کمیٹی نے ججز تعنیاتی کے معاملے پر وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب سے مشاورت کی، وزیراعلیٰ نے کابینہ کے آئندہ اجلاس میں ججز تعنیاتی کے معاملے کو ایجنڈا نمبر ون میں رکھنے کا کہا ہے۔
چیف جسٹس نے استفسار کیا کہ کابینہ کا آئندہ اجلاس کب ہے؟ آپ کو کابینہ کی سپیشل میٹنگ بلا لینی چاہیے تھے یا سرکولیشن کے ذریعے کر لیتے، آپ کو آج یہ کام کر کے آنا چاہیے تھا۔
ایڈووکیٹ جنرل پنجاب نے کہا کہ جمعے کے روز ہم کابینہ کا اجلاس بلا کر اس معاملے کو حل کر لیتے ہیں۔
چیف جسٹس نے برہمی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ آج حکومتی کمیٹی کے لوگ بھی نہیں آئے، یہ آپ لوگ عدالتوں کی عزت کرتے ہیں۔
ایڈووکیٹ جنرل پنجاب نے عدالت کو بتایا کہ حکومتی کمیٹی کے لوگ آدھے گھنٹے میں آ جائیں گے، عدالت اگر حکم کرے تو میں بلا لیتا ہوں۔
عدالت عالیہ نے پنجاب حکومت کو ججز کی تعنیاتی کے لیے آخری موقع دیتے ہوئے حکم دیا کہ وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب اور کابینہ آئندہ سماعت تک ججز کی تعنیاتی کے نوٹیفکیشن جاری کریں، اگر آئندہ سماعت تک ججز کی تعنیاتی کے نوٹیفکیشن جاری نہ ہوئے تو وزیراعلیٰ خود عدالت میں پیش ہوں۔
ایڈووکیٹ جنرل نے کہا کہ ججز کی تعنیاتی کے لیے ہائیکورٹ کی طرف سے دیئے گئے ناموں پر حکومت کو کوئی اعتراض نہیں ہے، جس پر چیف جسٹس نے ریمارکس دیئے کہ ججز کی تعنیاتی بارے کوئی نوٹیفکیشن آج بھی عدالت میں پیش نہیں کیا گیا۔
بعدازاں عدالت عالیہ نے ججز کی تعیناتی سے متعلق درخواست پر مزید کارروائی 24 مئی تک ملتوی کر دی۔

Advocate General Punjab said that on Friday we will resolve this issue by calling a cabinet meeting.
The Chief Justice expressed his anger and said that even the people of the government committee did not come today, these people respect the courts.
Advocate General Punjab told the court that the people of the government committee will come in half an hour, if the court orders, I will call.
The Supreme Court, while giving the last chance to the Punjab government for the decision of the judges, ordered that the Chief Minister of Punjab and the cabinet should issue the notification of the decision of the judges until the next hearing. come forward
The Advocate General said that the government has no objection to the names given by the High Court for the appointment of judges, to which the Chief Justice remarked that no notification regarding the appointment of judges has been presented in the court even today.
Later, the Supreme Court adjourned further proceedings on the application regarding the appointment of judges till May 24.
