Presidential debate, Biden and Trump accuse each other

ریاست جارجیا کے شہر اٹلانٹا میں پہلا صدارتی مباحثہ ہواجس میں ڈیمو کریٹک پارٹی کے اُمیدوار موجودہ صدر جو بائیڈن اور ری پبلیکن پارٹی اُمیدوار سابق صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ نے ایک دوسرے پر الزامات کی بوچھاڑ کردی ۔ مباحثے میں امریکی معیشت اور یوکرین جنگ سمیت دیگرموضوعات پر بات چیت کی گئی ۔
صدارتی مباحثے کے آغاز پر جو بائیڈن نے کہا کہ جب میں نے صدارت سنبھالی تو معیشت بہت خراب تھی، میں اس بات کو یقینی بناؤں گا کہ ملازمتوں میں اضافہ ہو، گھروں کی خریداری آسان ہو سکے۔
بائیڈن نے ایک سوال کے جواب میں کہا کہ ٹرمپ امریکی تاریخ کے واحد صدر تھے جن کے دور میں ملازمتوں میں کمی ہوئی، ٹرمپ کے ٹیکس چھوٹ سے صرف امیروں کو فائدہ پہنچا ہے۔ صدر بائیڈن کا کہنا تھا کہ غزہ میں جنگ بندی کے ہمارے منصوبے کو عالمی حمایت حاصل ہے، ٹرمپ وہ شخص ہے جو نیٹو سے بھی نکلنا چاہتا ہے، یہ ہارا ہوامایوس انسان ہے۔
سابق صدر ٹرمپ نے کہا کہ میرے دور میں معیشت کی جو حالت تھی اُس کی دنیا نے تعریف کی، ہم نے جس طرح کوویڈ کو سنبھالا ہمیں اُس کا کریڈٹ نہیں دیا گیا۔
ٹرمپ کا ایک سوال کے جواب میں کہنا تھا کہ امر یکا آنے والے ہزاروں تارکین وطن سے سوشل سیکورٹی کا نظام برباد ہو جائے گا۔ ٹرمپ نے کہا کہ جوبائیڈن کی ملٹری پالیسیاں احمقانہ ہیں ، میں بھی افغانستان سے انخلاء کر رہا تھا، لیکن جس طرح بائیڈن نے کیا وہ امریکی تاریخ کا شرمندہ ترین واقعہ تھا۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ کمپنیوں اور امیروں کو ٹیکس چھوٹ دینے سے مزید نوکریاں پیدا ہوں گی، اور اُس کا فائدہ نچلے طبقے تک جائے گا۔
سابق امریکی صدر نے کہا کہ بائیڈن کے زیرِ صدارت امریکا کو دنیا میں کوئی سنجیدگی سے نہیں لیتا، ہم تیسری دنیا کا ملک بن گئے ہیں، بائیڈن صدر منتخب ہوئے تو امریکا نہیں بچے گا۔ سابق امریکی صدر ٹرمپ کا کہنا تھا کہ اگر آج امریکا میں ایسا صدر ہوتا جس کی دنیا میں عزت ہوتی، تو روسی صدر پیوٹن کبھی یوکرین پر حملہ نہ کرتا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر میں صدر ہوتا تو حماس کبھی بھی اسرائیل پر حملہ نہ کرتی۔
جنوری 6 کی ہنگامہ آرائی کے سوال پر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ نے کہا کہ اُس دن امر یکا سب سے محفوظ تھا، امریکا کی دنیا میں عزت تھی۔ ٹرمپ کا کہنا تھا کہ 6 جنوری میں نے سپیکر نینسی پیلوسی کو 10 ہزار گارڈز کی پیشکش کی تھی، اُنہوں نے منع کر دیا تھا، نینسی پیلوسی 6 جنوری کی ہنگامہ آرائی کی ذمہ داری قبول چکی ہیں، تو میں کیسے ذمہ دار ہو گیا، ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ نے کہا ہے کہ وہ 6 جنوری کے مجرموں کی سزائیں ختم کر دیں گے۔
سابق صدر کا کہنا تھا کہ ڈیموکریٹس نے 6 جنوری کے حوالے سے تمام معلومات ضائع کردیں، اس لیے مجھ پر الزام لگا، بائیڈن کے اپنے بیٹے کو سزا ہو چکی ہے، کل کو بائیڈن کو سزا ہو سکتی ہے۔
امریکی صدر بائیڈن نے جواب میں کہا کہ میرے سامنے اس وقت واحد مجرم ٹرمپ ہے جسے عدالت سے سزا ہو چکی ہے، ٹرمپ کو ووٹ امریکی جمہوریت کے خلاف ووٹ ہوگا۔ انہوں نے سوال کیا کہ کیا وجہ ہے کہ ٹرمپ کے ٹاپ 44 سابقہ ساتھیوں نے اس مرتبہ اُن کی حمایت نہیں کی؟ مباحثے میں دونوں نے دوسری، دوسری مرتبہ امریکی صدر بننے کے لیے اپنی اپنی پالیسیاں اور ترجیحات بیان کیں۔
