Tehreek-e-Insaf challenged the Election Amendment Act in the Supreme Court

پاکستان تحریک انصاف نے الیکشن ترمیمی ایکٹ سپریم کورٹ میں چیلنج کر دیا۔
چیئرمین پاکستان تحریک انصاف بیرسٹر گوہر علی خان نے آئینی درخواست سپریم کورٹ میں دائر کر دی، درخواست میں وفاق اور الیکشن کمیشن کو فریق بنایا گیا ہے۔
پاکستان تحریک انصاف کی جانب سے درخواست میں موقف اپنایا گیا ہے کہ تحریک انصاف مخصوص نشستوں کی فہرستیں الیکشن کمیشن میں جمع کرا چکی ہے، 12 جولائی کے فیصلے کے بعد مخصوص نشستیں تحریک انصاف کا حق ہے۔
درخواست میں سپریم کورٹ سے الیکشن ترمیمی ایکٹ کو کالعدم قرار دینے کی استدعا کی گئی ہے۔
پی ٹی آئی کی جانب سے درخواست میں استدعا کی گئی ہے کہ الیکشن ترمیمی ایکٹ کو غیر آئینی و غیر قانونی قرار دیا جائے، الیکشن کمیشن کو مخصوص نشستیں دوسری سیاسی جماعتوں کو الاٹ کرنے سے فوری روک دیا جائے۔درخواست میں عدالت سے یہ استدعا بھی کی گئی ہے کہ خواتین و غیر مسلم کی مخصوص نشستیں تحریک انصاف کو الاٹ کرنے کا حکم دیا جائے۔

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has filed a constitutional petition in the Supreme Court, in which the Federation and the Election Commission have been made parties.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has taken the position in the petition that Tehreek-e-Insaf has submitted the lists of specific seats to the Election Commission, after the decision of July 12, the specific seats are the right of Tehreek-e-Insaf.
In the petition, the Supreme Court has been requested to declare the Election Amendment Act null and void.
PTI has requested in the petition that the Election Amendment Act be declared unconstitutional and illegal, the Election Commission should be immediately stopped from allotting certain seats to other political parties. It has been ordered that reserved seats for women and non-Muslims should be allotted to Tehreek-e-Insaf.
