Indian Force Commander’s recognition of the professionalism of Pakistani peacekeepers

پاکستانی امن فوجیوں کی پیشہ ورانہ مہارت کا بھارتی فورس کمانڈر کی جانب سے اعتراف کیا گیا، یہ اعتراف آرمی چیف جنرل سید عاصم منیر کو ایک خط کی صورت میں کیا گیا ہے۔
پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق پاکستانی امن دستے جنوبی سوڈان میں اقوام متحدہ کی سلامتی کونسل کی طرف سے تفویض کردہ مینڈیٹ کے مطابق امن و سلامتی کے قیام کیلئے فرائض انجام دے رہے ہیں۔
آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق خط میں بھارتی جنرل آفیسر نے پاکستانی امن فوجیوں کی پیشہ وارانہ مہارت، لگن اور غیرمتزلزل عزم کو سراہا۔ بھارتی جنرل آفیسر نے بریگیڈیئر شفقت اقبال کے بطور سیکٹر کمانڈر کرادار کو سراہا۔
آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق بھارتی جنرل آفیسر نے لیفٹیننٹ کرنل شہباز اسلم کے بطور کمانڈنگ آفیسر کردار کو بھی خصوصی طور پر سراہا۔
آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق پاکستان اقوام متحدہ کے امن مشن میں بین الاقوامی برادری کے ایک ذمہ دار رکن کی حیثیت سے اہم کردار ادا کرنے کیلئے پرعزم ہے۔ پاکستانی بلیوہیلمٹ نے شہریوں کے تحفظ کو یقینی بنانے کیلئے پیچیدہ اور چیلنجنگ آپریشنل ماحول میں مشکل کام کیے۔ شہریوں کا تحفظ پاکستانی امن دستوں کےلیے ہمیشہ اولین ترجیح رہی ہے، پاکستانی دستے نے دن رات کام کیا اور سیلاب سے متاثرہ علاقوں میں ڈھائی لاکھ سے زیادہ بے گھر افراد کی حفاظت کی۔
آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق پاکستان کی خواتین امن دستوں کا ان کی پیشہ ورانہ مہارت کا اعتراف کیا گیا، دو پاکستانی پیس کیپرز میجر ثانیہ صفدر اور میجر کومل مسعود کو صنفی وکالت کے ایوارڈ سے نوازا گیا۔
آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق یو این جنرل ہیڈکوارٹر کے انڈر سیکرٹری جنرل، ڈپارٹمنٹ آف پیس آپریشنز نے پیس کیپرز خواتین کو ایوارڈ سے نوازا

The professionalism of Pakistani peacekeepers has been acknowledged by the Indian Force Commander in a letter to Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, ISPR, Pakistani peacekeeping forces are performing duties for the establishment of peace and security in South Sudan according to the mandate assigned by the United Nations Security Council.
According to ISPR, in the letter, the Indian General Officer appreciated the professionalism, dedication and unwavering commitment of the Pakistani peacekeepers. Indian General Officer Commanding Brigadier Shafqat Iqbal as Sector Commander Karadar.
According to ISPR, the Indian General Officer also specially appreciated Lt Col Shahbaz Aslam’s role as Commanding Officer.
According to ISPR, Pakistan is determined to play an important role in UN peacekeeping missions as a responsible member of the international community. The Pakistani Blue Helmets worked hard in a complex and challenging operational environment to ensure the safety of civilians. Protection of civilians has always been a top priority for Pakistani peacekeepers, Pakistani troops worked day and night and protected more than 250,000 displaced people in flood-affected areas.
According to the ISPR, Pakistan’s female peacekeepers were recognized for their professionalism, with two Pakistani peacekeepers, Major Sania Safdar and Major Komal Masood, awarded the Gender Advocacy Award.
According to ISPR, the Under-Secretary-General, Department of Peace Operations, UN General Headquarters presented the award to the women peacekeepers.
