امریکی صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ نے روس اور چین کیساتھ ملکر دفاعی بجٹ کم کرنے کی خواہش کا اظہار کر دیا۔امریکی صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ نے کہا ہے کہ وہ روس اور چین کے ساتھ جوہری ہتھیاروں پر قابو پانے کے مذاکرات دوبارہ شروع کرنا چاہتے ہیں، امید ہے کہ بالآخر تینوں ممالک اپنے بڑے دفاعی بجٹ کو نصف تک کم کرنے پر راضی ہو جائیں گے۔
عالمی میڈیا کی رپورٹ کے مطابق اوول آفس میں صحافیوں سے بات کرتے ہوئے ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ نے امریکا کے جوہری دفاع پر سینکڑوں بلین ڈالر خرچ کرنے پر افسوس کا اظہار کیا اور کہا کہ وہ اپنے اخراجات میں کمی کے لئے امریکی مخالفین سے وعدے حاصل کرنے کی امید رکھتے ہیں۔
میڈیا رپورٹ میں کہا گیا ہے کہ ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ کا کہنا تھا کہ ہمارے پاس پہلے ہی بہت زیادہ جوہری ہتھیار ہیں جن سے ہم دنیا کو 50 بار بلکہ 100 سے بھی زیادہ بار تباہ کر سکتے ہیں اس کے باوجود ہم نئے جوہری ہتھیار بنا رہے ہیں اور روس اور چین بھی ایسا ہی کر رہے ہیں۔
امریکی صدر نے کہا کہ ہمارے پاس نئے جوہری ہتھیار بنانے کی کوئی وجہ نہیں، نئے جوہری ہتھیار بنانے پر ہم سب بہت زیادہ پیسہ خرچ کر رہے ہیں اور جسے ہم دیگر ایسی چیزوں پر خرچ کر سکتے ہیں جن پر حقیقت میں خرچ کرنے کی ضرورت ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ امریکا اور روس کے پاس سرد جنگ کے بعد جوہری ہتھیاروں کے بڑے ذخائر موجود ہیں اور پانچ یا چھ سال میں چین بھی ہماری سطح پرآ جائے گا، اگر کبھی ایٹمی ہتھیاروں کو استعمال کرنے کا موقع پیدا ہوگیا تو شاید ہم زندہ ہی نہ بچیں۔
صدر ٹرمپ نے کہا کہ وہ مشرق وسطیٰ اور یوکرین کے مسائل حل کرنے کے بعد چین اور روس دونوں کے ساتھ جوہری مذاکرات کی کوشش کریں گے اور دونوں کو فوجی بجٹ میں نصف کی کٹوتی کی تجویز دیں گے، امید ہے کہ ہم مل کر یہ کرنے کے قابل ہو جائیں گے۔
