وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ غیرت، جرأت اور قومی وحدت کی فتح کا دن ہے۔
مریم نواز شریف نے وزیراعظم شہباز شریف کے یومِ تشکر منانے کے فیصلے کا خیر مقدم کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے شکر گزار ہیں کہ دشمن کے ناپاک ارادوں کو خاک میں ملایا، آج کا دن صرف شکرگزاری کا نہیں بلکہ غیرت، جرأت اور قومی وحدت کی فتح کا دن ہے ۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ پاک فوج بہادر، پروفیشنل اور باصلاحیت ادارہ ہے، افواج پاکستان نے بھارتی جارحیت کا جواب صرف گولی سے نہیں، حکمت سے دیا، شاہینوں نے دشمن کے طیارے گرا کر دنیا کو پیغام دیا پاکستان کا دفاع ناقابلِ تسخیر ہے، دنیا نے جان لیا پاکستان اپنے دفاع میں ایک قدم پیچھے نہیں ہٹے گا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ان جوانوں کو سلیوٹ جنہوں نے دشمن کی آنکھوں میں آنکھیں ڈال کر بتایا پاکستان پر امن ہے کمزور یا بزدل نہیں، پاکستان کی قیادت مخلص ہے، قوم متحد اور افواج ناقابلِ شکست ہیں، شہداء کی قربانیوں کو رائیگاں نہیں جانے دیں گے۔
وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ نوجوانوں کو تعلیم، ہنر، ٹیکنالوجی سے ایمپاور کریں گے، ایسا پاکستان بنائیں گے جسے کوئی دشمن میلی آنکھ سے دیکھنے کا تصور نہ کر پائے گا۔

Maryam Nawaz Sharif, while welcoming Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s decision to celebrate Thanksgiving Day, said that she is grateful to Allah Almighty for crushing the enemy’s evil intentions. Today is not just a day of gratitude but a day of victory for honor, courage and national unity.
She said that the Pakistan Army is a brave, professional and talented institution. The Pakistani army responded to Indian aggression not only with bullets but also with wisdom. The falcons sent a message to the world by shooting down enemy planes that Pakistan’s defense is invincible. The world has come to know that Pakistan will not take a single step back in its defense.
She said that she salutes those soldiers who looked the enemy in the eye and told them that Pakistan is at peace, not weak or cowardly. The leadership of Pakistan is sincere, the nation is united and the forces are invincible. The sacrifices of the martyrs will not be allowed to go in vain.
The Punjab Chief Minister further said that we will empower the youth with education, skills, and technology, and create a Pakistan that no enemy will be able to imagine looking at with a dirty eye.
