Videos on TikTok while on duty: 7 police officers including SHO suspended

خیبرپختونخوا کے ضلع لکی مروت میں ڈیوٹی کے دوران ٹک ٹاک ویڈیوز بنانے پر ایس ایچ او سمیت 7 اہلکار معطل کر دیئے گئے۔
ضلعی پولیس سربراہ جواد اسحاق نے ایس ایچ او سید ایاز سمیت تمام سات اہلکاروں کو فوری طور پر معطل کر دیا ہے، یہ اہلکار سرکاری وردی میں دورانِ ڈیوٹی ٹک ٹاک پر ویڈیوز بنا رہے تھے۔
ویڈیوز وائرل ہونے کے بعد محکمہ پولیس کی ساکھ متاثر ہونے پر ڈی پی او نے سخت نوٹس لیتے ہوئے تمام اہلکاروں کو معطل کر کے لائن حاضر کیا اور باقاعدہ چارج شیٹ بھی جاری کر دی۔
ڈی پی او نے ڈیوٹی میں غفلت، غیر ذمہ داری اور محکمانہ ضابطہ اخلاق کی خلاف ورزی کے مرتکب افراد کے خلاف قانون کے مطابق کارروائی کیلئے واقعہ کی مکمل انکوائری کا بھی حکم دیا ہے۔
پولیس ترجمان کے مطابق اس نوعیت کے واقعات کو برداشت نہیں کیا جائے گا، اہلکاروں کو سخت نظم و ضبط کا پابند بنایا جائے گا تاکہ فورس کی ساکھ اور عوامی اعتماد متاثر نہ ہو۔

Seven officials, including an SHO, have been suspended for making TikTok videos while on duty in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
District Police Chief Jawad Ishaq has immediately suspended all seven officials, including SHO Syed Ayaz, who were making TikTok videos while on duty in official uniform.
After the videos went viral, the reputation of the police department was affected, and the DPO took strict notice, suspended all the officials and brought them to the line and also issued a regular charge sheet.
The DPO has also ordered a full inquiry into the incident to take legal action against those guilty of negligence in duty, irresponsibility and violation of the departmental code of conduct.
According to the police spokesperson, such incidents will not be tolerated, and the officials will be subject to strict discipline so that the reputation of the force and public trust are not affected.
