چمن میں قلعہ عبداللّٰہ گرڈ اسٹیشن پولیس چوکی کے قریب دھماکا ہوا جس کے نتیجے میں ایک اہلکار زخمی ہو گیا۔اس حوالے سے ڈی پی او کا کہنا ہے کہ دھماکے سے قلعہ عبداللّٰہ گرڈ اسٹیشن پولیس چوکی کا گارڈ روم تباہ ہو گیا۔انہوں نے کہا کہ بم ڈسپوزل اسکواڈ کا کلیئرنس آپریشن جاری ہے۔ڈی پی او کا کہنا ہے کہ ممکن ہے دھماکا خیز مواد پولیس چوکی کے پیچھے نالے میں نصب کیا گیا ہو۔
