A report should be submitted regarding deaths and torture in Lahore jails: Chief Justice Lahore High Court

چیف جسٹس لاہور ہائیکورٹ مس عالیہ نیلم نے جیلوں میں قید ملزمان کو سہولیات فراہم کرنے اور ملزمان پر تشدد کے خلاف آمنہ ریاض کی درخواست پر سماعت کی، درخواست گزار کی جانب سے اظہر صدیق ایڈووکیٹ پیش ہوئے۔
وکیل درخواست گزار نے کہا کہ یہ معاملہ بہت سادہ سا ہے جس پر چیف جسٹس نے جواب دیا کہ یہ معاملہ سادہ نہیں بلکہ بہت اہم ہے۔چیف جسٹس نے وکیل سے استفسار کیا کہ لاہور کی جیلوں کا بتائیں۔
وکیل درخواست گزار نے کہا کہ لاہور میں جتنی بھی سیاسی گرفتاریاں ہوئیں لیڈر شپ کے منہ پر کالے کپڑے ڈال کر پیش کیا جاتا، لوگوں پر تشدد کیا گیا اس کا ریکارڈ درخواست کے ساتھ لف ہے۔
عدالت نے سرکاری وکیل کو لاہور کی جیلوں میں اموات اور تشدد سے متعلق رپورٹ پیش کرنے کی ہدایت کر دی۔

Chief Justice of Lahore High Court Miss Alia Neelam heard the petition of Amna Riaz to provide facilities to the accused in jails and against torture on the accused, Azhar Siddique Advocate appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
The petitioner’s lawyer said that this matter is very simple, to which the Chief Justice replied that this matter is not simple but very important. The Chief Justice asked the lawyer to tell him about the jails of Lahore.
The petitioner’s lawyer said that all the political arrests that took place in Lahore were presented with black cloths on the face of the leadership, and the record of people being tortured is attached with the petition.
The court directed the public prosecutor to submit a report on deaths and torture in Lahore jails.
