Deliberate delay in tax cases, Chief Commissioner of Land Revenue suspended

اسلام آباد:وزیر اعظم شہباز شریف نے ٹیکس کیسز میں دانستہ التوا کا نوٹس لیتے ہوئے چیف کمشنر ان لینڈ ریونیو اسلام آباد اور  متعلقہ تمام افسران کو معطل کردیا۔وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے حکومت سنبھالتے ہی ایف بی آر اصلاحات کی فوری نفاذکی ہدایات جاری کی تھیں۔وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے افسران کو معطل کرنے کے ساتھ  انکوائری کا حکم بھی دیا  ہے۔ٹیکس ٹربیونلز میں اس وقت حکومت کے سیکڑوں ارب روپے کے کیس زیر سماعت ہیں جب کہ  وزیراعظم نے چیف جسٹس پاکستان سے ان کیسز کےجلد نمٹانےکی درخواست  بھی کی تھی۔اسلام آباد میں ایف بی آر کے وکیل کے عدالت میں ایسے ہی ایک کیس کی تاریخ میں تاخیر کی استدعا پر وزیراعظم نے نوٹس لیتے ہوئے  متعلقہ حکام کو فوری طور پر واقعے کی انکوائری کی ہدایت کی۔وزیراعظم شہبازشریف نے کہا کہ قومی خزانے کا سیکڑوں ارب قانونی تنازعات کا شکار ہے،  اس بارے میں کوئی بھی لاپرواہی اور کوتاہی قبول نہیں کرونگا۔انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ اپنی عوام سے کیے عہد کے تحت ٹیکس نظام میں اصلاحات کی خود نگرانی کررہا ہوں،ملک و قوم کی ایک ایک پائی بچانے اور محصولات بڑھانے کیلئے دن رات محنت کرنا ہوگی۔ 

ISLAMABAD: Taking notice of deliberate delay in tax cases, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has suspended Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue Islamabad and all related officers. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif issued instructions for the immediate implementation of FBR reforms as soon as he took over the government. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also ordered an inquiry along with the suspension of the officers. Currently, hundreds of billions of government cases are under hearing in the tax tribunals. While the Prime Minister also requested the Chief Justice of Pakistan to deal with these cases quickly. The Prime Minister took notice of the request of the lawyer of FBR in Islamabad to delay the date of one such case in the court. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that hundreds of billions of national treasury is subject to legal disputes, no one will accept carelessness and negligence in this regard. He added that under the promise made to the people, the tax system I am monitoring the reforms myself, we have to work hard day and night to save every penny of the country and the nation.
