New Chinese Consul General Sun Yan meets Maryam Nawaz, emphasizes bilateral cooperation

وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف نے لاہور میں نئے تعینات چین کے قونصل جنرل سن یان سے ملاقات کی، ملاقات میں دونوں رہنماؤں نے پاکستان اور چین کے درمیان سٹریٹجک شراکت داری اور دیرینہ دوستی پر زور دیا۔ وزیراعلیٰ نے دورہ چین کی دعوت شکریہ کے ساتھ قبول کی اور سٹریٹجک تعاون، سی پیک کے فروغ، دفاعی تعاون اور دیگر ممالک کے ساتھ کشیدگی کم کرنے میں چین کے کردار پر تشکر کا اظہار کیا، انہوں نے نئے قونصل جنرل کی سفارتی مہارت کو بھی سراہا۔
ملاقات میں پنجاب حکومت اور چینی قونصل خانے کے ساتھ مل کر اقتصادی اور ثقافتی تبادلوں کو وسعت دینے، تجارت، انفراسٹرکچر، توانائی اور انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی کے شعبوں میں دوطرفہ تعاون بڑھانے پر اتفاق کیا گیا۔
مریم نواز شریف نے پنجاب میں صنعتی ترقی، لاجسٹک کوریڈورز اور تکنیکی شراکت داری کے ذریعے معاشی ترقی کے اہداف پر زور دیا، جبکہ قونصل جنرل سن یان نے پاکستان اور چین کے تعلقات کو سٹریٹجک اعتماد، باہمی احترام اور غیر متزلزل یکجہتی کی روشن مثال قرار دیا۔

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif met with the newly appointed Chinese Consul General Sun Yan in Lahore. In the meeting, both leaders emphasized the strategic partnership and long-standing friendship between Pakistan and China. The Chief Minister accepted the invitation to visit China with gratitude and expressed gratitude for China’s role in strategic cooperation, promotion of CPEC, defense cooperation and reducing tensions with other countries. He also appreciated the diplomatic skills of the new Consul General.
In the meeting, it was agreed to work with the Punjab government and the Chinese Consulate to expand economic and cultural exchanges, and enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, infrastructure, energy and information technology.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized the goals of economic development in Punjab through industrial development, logistics corridors and technical partnerships, while Consul General Sun Yan described Pakistan-China relations as a shining example of strategic trust, mutual respect and unwavering solidarity.
