Punjab government approves purchase of new vehicles for VIPs

پنجاب حکومت نے وی آئی پیز کے لیے نئی گاڑیوں کی خریداری کی منظوری دے دی۔ دستاویز کے مطابق 52 کروڑ 35 لاکھ روپے مالیت سے نئی گاڑیاں خریدی جائیں گی، پنجاب حکومت نے 20 ٹویوٹا فارچیونر اور 12 ہائی لکس گاڑیاں خریدنے کی منظوری دے دی۔
37 کروڑ 27 لاکھ روپے مالیت کی 20 ٹیوٹا فارچیونرز سگما 4×4 خریدیں جائیں گی، وی وی آئی پیز کی سکیورٹی اور پروٹوکول کے لئے 12 4×4 ہائی لکس ڈالے خریدے جائیں گے۔
ہائی لکس ڈالوں کے لیے 11 کروڑ 26 لاکھ روپے کی منظوری دی گئی، گاڑیوں میں سکیورٹی کے خصوصی انتظامات کے لئے بجٹ منظور کیا گیا ہے۔
دستاویز کے مطابق گاڑیوں میں نائٹ وژن، تھرمل کیمرے اور جدید سکیورٹی آلات بھی منصوبے میں شامل ہیں۔
محکمہ خزانہ نے فارچیونر گاڑیوں کو لگژری قرار دے کر اعتراض بھی اٹھایا تھا، موٹر ٹرانسپورٹ ونگ کے ذریعے گاڑیوں کی خریداری اور استعمال ہوگا۔

20 Toyota Fortuners Sigma 4×4 worth Rs 372.7 million will be purchased, 12 4×4 Hilux vans will be purchased for the security and protocol of VVIPs.
Rs 112.6 million has been approved for Hilux vans, a budget has been approved for special security arrangements in the vehicles.
According to the document, night vision, thermal cameras and modern security equipment are also included in the project in the vehicles.
The Finance Department had also raised objections by declaring Fortuner vehicles as luxury, the vehicles will be purchased and used through the Motor Transport Wing.
