Karachi: Attack on a vehicle of foreign nationals, 2 terrorists killed
کراچی کے علاقے لانڈھی کی مانسہرہ کالونی میں غیر ملکی شہریوں کی گاڑی کے قریب دھماکا ہوا، جس کے نتیجے میں 2 دہشتگرد ہلاک اور 2 سکیورٹی گارڈ سمیت 3 افراد زخمی ہوگئے۔
ایس ایس پی ملیر طارق الہٰی نے بتایا کہ تمام غیرملکی شہری ایکسپورٹ پروسیسنگ زون جا رہے تھے کہ نامعلوم افراد نے لانڈھی کی مانسہرہ کالونی میں گاڑی کو نشانہ بنایا جس میں 5 جاپانی شہری سوار تھے، حملے کے نتیجے میں تمام غیر ملکی شہری محفوظ رہے۔
ایس ایس پی کا کہنا تھا کہ ایک دہشت گرد نے خود کو دھماکے سے اڑایا، دوسرا دہشت گرد پولیس مقابلے میں مارا گیا جبکہ تیسرا فرار ہونے میں کامیاب ہوگیا۔
پولیس حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ گاڑی کو موٹرسائیکل پر سوار خود کش بمبار کے ذریعے نشانہ بنایا گیا، جائے وقوعہ سے کلاشنکوف اور دستی بم سے بھرا بیگ بھی ملا ہے۔
دھماکے کی اطلاع ملنے کے بعد پولیس اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کے اہلکار موقع پر پہنچ گئے اور جائے وقوعہ کو گھیرے میں لے کر سرچ آپریشن شروع کر دیا، زخمیوں کو ہسپتال منتقل کر دیا گیا ہے۔
دوسری جانب ڈی آئی جی ایسٹ غلام اظفر مہیسر نے میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ جائے وقوعہ کے قریب کالے بیگ میں ہینڈ گرنیڈ اور موٹرسائیکل ملی ہے جبکہ کالے بیگ کے اندر بھی ہینڈ گرنیڈ موجود ہیں۔
وزیراعلیٰ سندھ سید مراد علی شاہ کی جانب سے مانسہرہ کالونی میں دھماکے کی آئی جی پولیس سے رپورٹ طلب کر لی گئی۔وزیر اعلیٰ کا کہنا تھا کہ ملک دشمن عناصر امن امان خراب کرنا چاہتے ہیں جس کی کسی قیمت اجازت نہیں دی جائیگی، پولیس کی بروقت کارروائی بہترین اقدام تھا۔ مراد علی شاہ نےغیرملکی مہمانوں کی سکیورٹی پر معمور سکیورٹی کے علاج کا فوری بندوبست کرنے کی بھی ہدایت کی۔
An explosion occurred near the car of foreign nationals in Mansehra Colony of Landhi area of Karachi, as a result of which 2 terrorists were killed and 3 people including 2 security guards were injured.
SSP Malir Tariq Elahi said that all the foreign nationals were going to the export processing zone when unknown persons targeted a vehicle in Mansehra Colony of Landhi in which 5 Japanese nationals were riding. As a result of the attack, all the foreign nationals were safe.
The SSP said that one terrorist blew himself up, another terrorist was killed in a police encounter while the third managed to escape.
Police officials say that the vehicle was targeted by a suicide bomber on a motorcycle, and a Kalashnikov and a bag full of hand grenades were also found at the scene.
After receiving the information about the explosion, the police and law enforcement officials reached the spot and surrounded the spot and started a search operation. The injured have been shifted to the hospital.
On the other hand, DIG East Ghulam Azfar Mahesar while talking to the media said that a hand grenade and a motorcycle were found in a black bag near the crime scene while there were also hand grenades inside the black bag.
On behalf of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, the report of the explosion in Mansehra Colony was called from the IG Police. Timely action was the best move. Murad Ali Shah also directed to make immediate arrangements for the security of the foreign visitors.
