پولیس کے مطابق دو روز قبل ایم 9 موٹروے پر کاٹھور کے قریب کار سوار اسمگلر نے کوسٹ گارڈ کے اہلکار عادل کو ٹکر ماری جس سے وہ شدید زخمی ہوگیا اور اسپتال میں دوران علاج جاں بحق ہوگیا۔
واقعہ کا مقدمہ کوسٹ گارڈ کے نائب صوبیدار کی مدعیت میں گڈاپ تھانے میں درج کرلیا گیا۔
مقدمے کے متن میں مدعی نے بتایا کہ کار میں اسمگلنگ کے سامان کی منتقلی کی اطلاع پر کاٹھور کے قریب اسنیپ چیکنگ کررہے تھے کہ انصاری پل کے پاس ایک کار کو رکنے کا اشارہ کیا۔
کار سوار نے رکنے کے بجائے رانگ لیکر حیدرآباد سے کراچی آنے والے روڈ پر آگیا اور فرار ہونے کی کوشش کی تو کوسٹ گارڈ اہلکاروں نے اس کو روکنے کی کوشش کی جس پر کار سوار اسمگلر اہلکار عادل کو ٹکر مار کر کار کچھ دور چھوڑ کر فرار ہوگیا۔
کار کی ٹکر سے اہلکار شدید زخمی ہوگیا جسے پہلے نجی اسپتال پھر جناح اسپتال منتقل کیا گیا جہاں وہ دوران علاج دم توڑ گیا، پکڑی گئی کار سے 41 بورے چھالیہ اور 100پیکٹ گٹکے کے ملے ہیں۔
