Need to be united to face challenges: Army Chief

آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق یوم آزادی پر آرمی چیف جنرل سید عاصم منیر نے ریٹائرڈ فوجی افسران کے اعزاز میں استقبالیے کا اہتمام کیا۔ تقریب میں ریٹائرڈ فوجی افسران اور جوانوں کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی اور آرمی چیف جنرل سید عاصم منیر نے ریٹائرڈ افسران کی خدمات کو خراج تحسین پیش کیا۔ آرمی چیف نے ملک کے تحفظ کیلئے ریٹائرڈ فوجی جوانوں و افسران کے کردار کو سراہتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ سابق فوجی افسران پاکستان کی ترقی میں اہم کردار ادا کرتے ہیں۔
آرمی چیف نے چیلنجز سے نبردآزما ہونے کے لیے متحد رہنے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا اور کہا کہ ریٹائرڈ قیادت پاکستان کی ترقی کے لیے اہم کردار ادا کرتی رہے۔ آرمی چیف نے جعلی خبروں اور پراپیگنڈے کے خطرات پر بات کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ شرپسند عناصر عوام اور مسلح افواج میں خلیج پیدا کرنے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں۔
آرمی چیف جنرل سید عاصم منیر نے مزید کہا ہے کہ ریٹائرڈ فوجی افسران و جوانوں اور قوم کی غیر متزلزل حمایت سے ایسی تمام سازشوں کو ناکا م بنا دیا جائے گا۔ اس موقع پر ریٹائرڈ افسران و جوانوں نے پاک فوج کی قیادت پر اعتماد اور یقین کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے بیرونی و داخلی سکیورٹی کو درپش خطرات سے نمٹنے کے لیے مکمل حمایت کا یقین دلایا۔ تقریب کا مقصد پاک فوج کی حاضر اور ریٹائرڈ قیادت میں مضبوط تعلق کو ظاہر کرنا تھا، ریٹائرڈ افسران و جوان ملک کی خوشحالی اور سلامتی کے لیے متحد ہیں۔

According to ISPR, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir organized a reception in honor of retired army officers on Independence Day. A large number of retired army officers and soldiers participated in the ceremony and Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir paid tribute to the services of the retired officers. The Army Chief while appreciating the role of retired army men and officers for the protection of the country said that ex-army officers play an important role in the development of Pakistan.
The Army Chief stressed the need to remain united to face the challenges and said that the retired leadership continued to play an important role in the development of Pakistan. Talking about the dangers of fake news and propaganda, the Army Chief has said that the miscreants are trying to create a gap between the people and the armed forces.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir has further said that all such conspiracies will be foiled with the unwavering support of retired army officers and soldiers and the nation. On this occasion, the retired officers and soldiers expressed their trust and confidence in the leadership of the Pakistan Army and assured their full support to deal with the external and internal security threats. The purpose of the ceremony was to show the strong bond between the present and retired leadership of the Pakistan Army, the retired officers and men are united for the prosperity and security of the country.
