PPP rejects proposal to change NFC formula

این ایف سی فارمولے میں تبدیلی کی تجویز پیپلز پارٹی نے مسترد کر دی۔
پیپلزپارٹی کے چیئرمین بلاول بھٹو زرداری نے پریس بریفنگ کے دوران کہا کہ آرٹیکل 243 میں ترمیم کی تجاویز سی ای سی نے منظور کی ہے، آئینی عدالت کے قیام سے متعلق بات کرتے ہوئے بلاول بھٹو نے کہا کہ آئینی عدالت پر رائے یہ ہے کہ چاروں صوبوں کی برابر نمائندگی ہو، اس حوالے سے سی ای سی کا اجلاس آج نماز جمعہ کے بعد ہو گا جس میں آئینی عدالت پر حتمی فیصلہ کریں گے۔
27 ویں آئینی ترمیم بارے پیپلزپارٹی کی سینٹرل ایگزیکٹیو کمیٹی کا اجلاس ہوا، صدر مملکت آصف علی زرداری اور چیئرمین پیپلزپارٹی بلاول بھٹو نے شرکت کی، وزیراعلی سندھ مراد علی شاہ اور دیگر پیپلزپارٹی کی قیادت بھی شریک ہوئی۔مجوزہ 27 ویں ترمیم کے نکات پر ارکان کو اعتماد میں لیا گیا، بلاول بھٹو نے سی ای سی کو تفصیل سے تمام تر معاملات پر آگاہ کیا، ذرائع کے مطابق ارکان سی ای سی نے زیادہ تر قومی مالیاتی کمیشن ایوارڈ پر بات کی۔
پارٹی قیادت نے صوبوں کے مالیاتی شیئر کے حوالے سے حکومتی تجاویز اور اپنی رائے سے آگاہ کیا، پیپلزپارٹی صوبائی خودمختاری پر اپنے دیرینہ مؤقف پر قائم رہی، بیشتر ارکان نے بہبود آبادی کا محکمہ وفاق کو واپس کرنے کی مخالفت نہیں کی۔
سی ای سی ارکان نے مجوزہ ڈرافٹ کی حمایت میں آرا دیں، چند اختلافی امور پر پارٹی قیادت سٹیک ہولڈرز سے بات کرے گی، سی ای سی نے دیگر پارلیمانی جماعتوں سے رابطوں کا فیصلہ کیا، مجوزہ آئینی ترمیم پر ہم خیال جماعتوں کے ساتھ مکالمہ کیا جائے گا۔
وفاقی آئینی عدالت پر پیپلزپارٹی اور ن لیگ کے درمیان ہم آہنگی ہے، مجوزہ ڈرافٹ میں پیپلزپارٹی کے قانونی ماہرین کی آرا پہلے ہی شامل ہیں، پیپلزپارٹی کی سیاسی کمیٹی بھی ستائیسویں ترمیم کے مجوزہ ڈرافٹ کا جائزہ لے چکی ہے۔
ارکان کو آگاہ کیا گیا ن لیگ اور تمام سٹیک ہولڈرز کے ساتھ ڈرافٹ کی بیشتر شقوں پر مثبت بات ہوئی، ترامیم کے ڈرافٹ میں الیکشن کمیشن سے متعلق شقیں ہیں، چیف الیکشن کمشنر، ممبران الیکشن کمیشن کے انتخاب میں رکاوٹ دور ہونی چاہئے۔

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said during a press briefing that the CEC has approved the proposals for amending Article 243. Talking about the establishment of the Constitutional Court, Bilawal Bhutto said that the opinion on the Constitutional Court is that all four provinces should have equal representation. In this regard, the CEC meeting will be held today after Friday prayers in which the final decision on the Constitutional Court will be taken.
A meeting of the PPP Central Executive Committee was held on the 27th Constitutional Amendment. President Asif Ali Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto attended. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and other PPP leadership also attended. The members were taken into confidence on the points of the proposed 27th Amendment. Bilawal Bhutto informed the CEC in detail about all the issues. According to sources, the CEC members mostly discussed the National Finance Commission Award.
The party leadership informed the government of its proposals and its opinion regarding the financial share of the provinces. The PPP remained steadfast in its long-standing stance on provincial autonomy. Most members did not oppose returning the Population Welfare Department to the federal government.
The CEC members voted in support of the proposed draft. The party leadership will talk to stakeholders on some controversial issues. The CEC decided to contact other parliamentary parties. Dialogue will be held with like-minded parties on the proposed constitutional amendment.
There is harmony between the PPP and the PML-N on the Federal Constitutional Court. The opinions of PPP legal experts are already included in the proposed draft. The PPP’s political committee has also reviewed the proposed draft of the 27th Amendment.
The members were informed that most of the clauses of the draft were discussed positively with the PML-N and all stakeholders. The draft of the amendments contains clauses related to the Election Commission. The obstacles in the election of the Chief Election Commissioner and members of the Election Commission should be removed.
