Pakistan Public Works Department inactive

وزیراعظم شہباز شریف کی زیر صدارت وفاقی کابینہ کا اجلاس ہوا جس میں 2 نکاتی ایجنڈے پر غور کیا گیا، اجلاس میں کابینہ کی اقتصادی رابطہ کمیٹی (ای سی سی) کے گزشتہ روز اجلاس کے فیصلوں کی توثیق کی گئی۔
اجلاس کے دوران وفاقی کابینہ نے رولز آف بزنس 1973 میں پاکستان پبلک ورکس ڈیپارٹمنٹ (پی ڈبلیو ڈی) کی بندش کے حوالے سے ترمیم کی منظوری دی جس کے بعد محکمہ غیر فعال ہوگیا۔
کابینہ اجلاس میں حکومت پاکستان نے ایم ایل ون کے پہلے فیز پر عملدرآمد کا فیصلہ کیا، کابینہ نے چین پاکستان ریلوے کے درمیان فنانسنگ معاہدے کی منظوری بھی دے دی۔یاد رہے کہ وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے جون میں پی ڈبلیو ڈی کو ناقص کارکردگی اور کرپشن پر فوری طور پر ختم کرنے کی ہدایت کی تھی۔

The Federal Cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in which the 2-point agenda was considered.
During the meeting, the Federal Cabinet approved the amendment in the Rules of Business, 1973 regarding the closure of the Pakistan Public Works Department (PWD), after which the department became inactive.
In the cabinet meeting, the government of Pakistan decided to implement the first phase of ML1, the cabinet also approved the financing agreement between China-Pakistan Railways. It should be remembered that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in June accused PWD of poor performance and corruption. But it was directed to terminate immediately.
