Pakistani squash player Asim Khan reached the quarter finals

عاصم خان نے یحییٰ النواسانی کو 11-7، 4-11، 11-6، 7-11 اور 11-7 کے اسکور سے شکست دی، ان کی اس شاندار فتح نے انہیں ٹورنامنٹ کے کوارٹر فائنل میں پہنچا دیا ہے۔ دوسری جانب پاکستان کے ایک اور کھلاڑی عشب عرفان دوسرے راؤنڈ میں سیڈ نمبر 7 مصر کے ابراہیم الکبانی سے شکست کھا گئے، ان کو 11-8، 11-7، 7-11 اور 11-7 کے اسکور سے شکست کا سامنا کرنا پڑا۔

In the Charlottesville Open Squash Tournament, Pakistan’s Asim Khan pulled off a big upset by defeating the second seeded Egypt’s Yahya Al Nawasani in a thrilling match to reach the quarter finals.
In this tournament in the American state of Virginia, Asim overcame a strong Egyptian opponent after a tough competition lasting an hour.
Asim Khan defeated Yahya Al-Nawasani by scores of 11-7, 4-11, 11-6, 7-11 and 11-7, his impressive victory took him to the quarter-finals of the tournament. On the other hand, another player from Pakistan, Ashab Irfan, lost in the second round to No. 7 seed Ibrahim Al-Kabbani of Egypt, losing by scores of 11-8, 11-7, 7-11 and 11-7.
