Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif meet British counterpart.

وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف سے نیو یارک میں اقوام متحدہ جنرل اسمبلی کے 79 ویں اجلاس کے موقع پر برطانیہ کے وزیرِ اعظم رائٹ آنرایبل سر کیئر اسٹارمر نے ملاقات کی۔ملاقات میں پاکستان اور برطانیہ کے مابین دو طرفہ تعلقات اور باہمی دلچسپی کے امور پر گفتگو ہوئی، دونوں رہنماؤں کے مابین پاک برطانیہ تعلقات کو مزید فروغ دینے اور مختلف شعبوں بالخصوص تجارت و سرمایہ کاری کے فروغ پر اتفاق ہوا۔
دونوں رہنماؤں کے درمیان ملاقات میں پاکستان کی معاشی صورتحال پر بھی گفتگو ہوئی، وزیرِ اعظم محمد شہباز شریف نے معاشی استحکام کے بعد ملکی معیشت کی ترقی کیلئے حکومت کے اقدامات بالخصوص ایف بی آر کی اصلاحات اور ٹیکس بیس میں اضافے پر روشنی ڈالی۔

British Prime Minister Right Honorable Sir Keir Starmer met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the occasion of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. In the meeting, bilateral relations between Pakistan and Great Britain and matters of mutual interest were discussed. It was agreed between the two leaders to further promote Pakistan-UK relations and promote various sectors, especially trade and investment.
The economic situation of Pakistan was also discussed in the meeting between the two leaders. Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif highlighted the government’s measures for the development of the country’s economy after economic stability, especially the reforms of FBR and increase in tax base.
