We are equipping youth with skills in line with global requirements: Prime Minister

وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ ہم اپنے نوجوانوں کو عالمی مارکیٹ کے تقاضوں کے مطابق صلاحیتوں سے آراستہ کرنے کیلئے پر عزم ہیں۔
وزیراعظم محمد شہباز شریف سے یونیورسٹی آف لندن کی وائس چانسلر وینڈی تھامسن نے ملاقات کی، وینڈی تھامسن نے وزیراعظم شہباز شریف کو ملک میں تعلیم کے فروغ کے لیےحالیہ اقدامات پر خراج تحسین پیش کیا،اس موقع پر گفتگو کرتے ہوئے وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے کہا کہ پاکستانی نوجوانوں میں زندگی کے تمام شعبوں میں اپنا لوہا منوانے اور ملک کا نام روشن کرنے کی مکمل استعداد موجود ہے، پاکستانی شہری یونیورسٹی آف لندن اور دیگر معروف بین الاقوامی تعلیمی اداروں سے تعلیم حاصل کرنے کے بعد عالمی مارکیٹ میں اہم خدمات سرانجام دے رہے ہیں۔شہباز شریف کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ حکومت پاکستان نوجوانوں کو میرٹ کی بنیاد پر بیرون ملک سکالرشپ اور ملازمت کے لیے بھیجنے کے لیے متعدد پروگرام متعارف کر چکی ہے اور نئی حکمت عملیوں پر کام جاری ہے، ہم اپنے نوجوانوں کو عالمی مارکیٹ کے تقاضوں کے مطابق صلاحیتوں سے آراستہ کرنے کے لیے پر عزم ہیں۔
ملاقات میں وزیر اطلاعات و نشریات عطا اللہ تارڑ، وفاقی وزیر اقتصادی امور احد خان چیمہ اور متعلقہ اداروں کے اعلیٰ افسران بھی شریک تھے۔

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was met by Wendy Thompson, Vice Chancellor of the University of London. Wendy Thompson paid tribute to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the recent steps taken to promote education in the country. Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistani youth have the full potential to prove their mettle in all walks of life and make the country famous. Pakistani citizens are rendering important services in the global market after studying at the University of London and other renowned international educational institutions. Shehbaz Sharif further said that the government of Pakistan has introduced several programs to send youth abroad for scholarships and jobs on the basis of merit and work is underway on new strategies. We are determined to equip our youth with skills according to the requirements of the global market.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema and senior officers of relevant institutions were also present in the meeting.
