Maryam Nawaz orders crackdown on wholesalers

وزیرِ اعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز نے صوبے بھر میں مہنگائی کے سدباب کے لیے مؤثر اور جامع کریک ڈاؤن کا حکم دے دیا۔

انہوں نے تمام کمشنرز اور ڈپٹی کمشنرز کو گراں فروشی کے خلاف مؤثر مہم چلانے کی ہدایت کی ہے۔وزیرِ اعلیٰ پنجاب نے سرکاری ریٹ لسٹ نمایاں آویزاں کرنے اور چیف سیکریٹری پنجاب کو گراں فروشی اور ذخیرہ اندوزی کے خلاف مہم کی ذاتی نگرانی کا حکم بھی دیا ہے۔
انہوں نے اشیائے خوردونوش کی طلب و رسد کے امور کی مانیٹرنگ اور ذخیرہ اندوزی روکنے کے لیے کارروائی کی ہدایت کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ نرخ کے بارے میں روزانہ جامع رپورٹ پیش کی جائے۔
ان کا کہنا ہے کہ اشیائے خوردونوش کے نرخ اور معیار کو ہر صورت یقینی بنایا جائے، پوری دنیا میں رمضان کے دوران اشیاء کے نرخ کم کیے جاتے ہیں، ہمیں بھی رضا کارانہ طور پر نرخ کم کرنے چاہئیں۔
وزیرِ اعلیٰ پنجاب نے کہا کہ سہولت بازاروں میں مارکیٹ سے کم نرخ پر معیاری اشیاء کی فراہمی یقینی بنائی جائے، ڈیش بورڈ پر روزانہ بار بار اشیاء خوردونوش کے نرخ خود چیک کر رہی ہوں۔
مریم نواز کا کہنا ہے کہ گراں فروشی اور ذخیرہ اندوزی کے معاملے میں بلا امتیاز کارروائی کی جائے، گراں فروشی کے خلاف مہم میں کسی سطح پر کوتاہی برداشت نہیں کی جائے گی۔

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered an effective and comprehensive crackdown to curb inflation across the province.
A video link meeting of all commissioners and deputy commissioners was held under the chairmanship of Maryam Nawaz.
She has directed all commissioners and deputy commissioners to launch an effective campaign against price gouging. The Punjab Chief Minister has also ordered the display of the official rate list prominently and the Punjab Chief Secretary to personally supervise the campaign against price gouging and hoarding.
She directed the monitoring of supply and demand issues of food items and action to stop hoarding, saying that a comprehensive report should be submitted daily about the prices.
She says that the prices and quality of food items should be ensured at all costs. The prices of items are reduced during Ramadan all over the world, we should also voluntarily reduce the prices.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that the supply of quality goods at lower than market prices should be ensured in convenience markets. She is checking the prices of food items on the dashboard every day. Maryam Nawaz says that action should be taken indiscriminately in the matter of overselling and hoarding, and no negligence will be tolerated at any level in the campaign against overselling.
