وزیرِاعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز کا کہنا ہے کہ سرکاری اسکولز میں یونیفارم کی پابندی کویقینی بنایا جائے، سرکاری اسکولز کے معیار کو اچھے نجی اسکولز سے بہتر کرنا ہمارا عزم ہے۔
مریم نواز کی زیرِ صدارت اجلاس ہوا جس میں پنجاب کے پبلک اسکول ری آرگنائزیشن پروگرام (پی ایس آر پی) میں شامل اسکولز میں 5 ہزار نئے کلاس رومز بنانے کی منظوری دی گئی، اسکولز کی تعمیر و مرمت کے لیے ریوالونگ فنڈز قائم کرنے کی تجویز پر اتفاق بھی کیا گیا۔
اجلاس میں طلبہ کی لرننگ کیپسٹی بڑھانے کے لیے اسکولز میں نئی ماڈرن لیبز قائم کرنے اور آؤٹ آف اسکول بچوں کے لیے فارمل لرننگ سینٹر بنانے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا۔
اجلاس کے دوران پڑھائی کے فروغ کے لیے سرکاری اسکولز میں موبائل بس لائبریری پراجیکٹ پر غور کیا گیا اور جنوبی پنجاب کے 3 اضلاع میں جاری اسکول میل پروگرام پر رپورٹ پیش کی گئی۔
دورانِ اجلاس بریفنگ میں بتایا گیا کہ اسکول میل پروگرام شروع ہونے کے بعد 38 ہزار سے زائد نئے طلبہ کی انرولمنٹ مکمل کی گئی،3527 اسکولز میں دودھ کے 1 کروڑ 32 لاکھ سے زائد پیکٹ تقسیم کیے گئے، طلبہ کو دودھ پیک سے متعلق روزانہ ڈیش بورڈ پر رپورٹ پیش کی جاتی ہے، اسکول میل پروگرام کے اجراء کے بعد بچوں کے کیلشیم ٹیسٹ بھی لیے جاتے ہیں۔
بریفنگ میں بتایا گیا کہ پبلک اسکول ری آرگنائزیشن پروگرام میں شامل اسکولز میں انرولمنٹ 34 فیصد بڑھی ہے، پی ایس آر پی فیز1میں شامل 5675 اسکولز میں1 لاکھ 21 ہزار سے زائد نئے طلبہ آئے، اسپیشل مانیٹرنگ یونٹ نے 60 فیصد نئے داخلوں کی تصدیق کر لی۔

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Maryam Nawaz, in which approval was given to build 5,000 new classrooms in schools included in the Public School Reorganisation Program (PSRP) of Punjab, proposal to establish revolving funds for the construction and repair of schools. It was also agreed.
In the meeting, it was decided to establish new modern labs in schools and to create formal learning centers for out-of-school children to increase the learning capacity of students.
During the meeting, the mobile bus library project in government schools was considered for the promotion of education and a report was presented on the ongoing school mail program in 3 districts of South Punjab.
During the briefing, it was told that after the school mail program was started, the enrollment of more than 38 thousand new students was completed, more than 1 crore 32 lakh packets of milk were distributed in 3527 schools, daily dash related to milk packets to the students. A report is submitted to the board, calcium tests of children are also taken after the launch of the school meal programme.
In the briefing, it was informed that the enrollment in the schools involved in the Public School Reorganization Program has increased by 34%, more than 121 thousand new students have come in the 5675 schools included in the PSRP Phase 1, the Special Monitoring Unit has confirmed 60% of the new admissions. .
