قطر کی سرکاری فضائی کمپنی قطر ایئرویز نے اب تک کی سب سے طویل ترین پرواز کرکے تمام ریکارڈ توڑ ڈالے۔
ترجمان قطر ایئر ویز کا کہنا ہے کہ دوحہ سے نیوزی لینڈ روانہ ہونے والی پرواز کا دورانیہ کسی بھی تجارتی فضائی کمپنی کی پرواز سے زیادہ ہے۔
کمپنی کی ترجمان نے بتایا کہ قطر ایئرویز کی پرواز کیو آر 920 دوحہ کے حمد انٹرنیشنل ایئرپورٹ سے نیوزی لینڈ کے شہر آکلینڈ کے لیے روانہ ہوئی۔
اس حوالے سے فضائی کمپنیوں کے امور سے متعلق ویب سائٹ “فلائٹ ریڈار 24” کے مطابق اس براہ راست پرواز کا دورانیہ 16 گھنٹے 2 منٹ ہے جب کہ اسی روٹ پر واپسی کی پرواز کا دورانیہ 17 گھنٹے 30 منٹ پر محیط ہوگا۔
قطر ایئر ویز کا کہنا ہے کہ وہ نیوزی لینڈ کے لیے 14534 کلو میٹر فاصلے کی پرواز کے لیے بوئنگ 777 طیارہ استعمال کر رہی ہے۔
یاد رہے کہ اس سے قبل طویل ترین پرواز کا ریکارڈ “ایمریٹس” فضائی کمپنی کے پاس تھا، کمپنی نے مارچ 2016 میں دبئی سے آکلینڈ کے لیے براہ راست پروازیں شروع کی تھیں۔

A spokesperson for Qatar Airways says that the flight duration from Doha to New Zealand is longer than that of any commercial airline.
Qatar Airways flight QR920 departed from Doha’s Hamad International Airport to Auckland, New Zealand, the company’s spokesperson said.
In this regard, according to the website “Flight Radar 24” related to the affairs of airlines, the duration of this direct flight is 16 hours and 2 minutes, while the duration of the return flight on the same route will cover 17 hours and 30 minutes.
Qatar Airways says it is using Boeing 777 aircraft for the 14,534 km flight to New Zealand.
It should be noted that the record for the longest flight was previously held by the airline “Emirates”, which started direct flights from Dubai to Auckland in March 2016.
