If India violates the Indus Basin Treaty, 6 rivers will be ours: Pak Army

ترجمان پاک فوج لیفٹیننٹ جنرل احمد شریف چودھری نے کہا ہے کہ بھارت نے سندھ طاس معاہدے کی خلاف ورزی کی تو آزادیٔ کشمیر پر 6 دریا پاکستان کے ہوں گے۔
الجزیرہ ٹی وی کو انٹرویو دیتے ہوئے پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل لیفٹیننٹ جنرل احمد شریف چودھری نے کہا ہے کہ پاکستان کی مسلح افواج نے بھارتی فوج کو ایسا سبق سکھایا ہے جو وہ کبھی نہیں بھولیں گے، بھارتی حملے کا مقابلہ کرنے کے لیے جو عسکری حکمت عملی اپنائی گئی ہے وہ کئی دہائیوں تک زیر مطالعہ رہے گی۔
احمد شریف چودھری نے کہا کہ پاکستانی فوج نے بھارت پر برتری حاصل کی ہے اور حالیہ حملے میں بھارت کو اپنے مقاصد حاصل کرنے سے روک دیا، پاکستانی فوج کا حوصلہ اور بھارت پر حاصل کی گئی برتری نے عوام کے دلوں میں فوج کی محبت کو بڑھا دیا ہے اور اب فوج عزت اور فخر کی علامت بن چکی ہے۔
جنگ میں فتح کے سوال پر ترجمان پاک فوج نے کہا کہ ہم ہمیشہ کہتے ہیں کہ جنگ ہماری ہے اور فتح صرف اللہ کی ہے لہٰذا میرا خیال ہے کہ اس سوال کا جواب بین الاقوامی برادری، پوری دنیا اور غیر جانبدار مبصرین کے پاس ہے کیونکہ وہ اس کا درست جواب دے سکتے ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ سوال اس وقت واضح ہو جاتا ہے جب آپ پاکستان کی سڑکوں اور شہروں کا دورہ کریں، اس کا جواب آپ پاکستانی عوام کے چہروں پر دیکھ سکتے ہیں، ان کی خوشیاں اور جشن جو وہ ابھی منا رہے ہیں لہٰذا اس سوال کا جواب بہت ہی واضح ہے۔
انہوں نے واضح کیا کہ معاملہ صرف عسکری میدان تک محدود نہیں ہے نہ ہی یہ محض فضائی اور زمینی لڑائیوں تک محدود ہے، اس تنازع میں پاکستان نے جھوٹ، فریب، دباؤ، جارحیت اور بھارت کے دیگر کئی پہلوؤں کا پردہ چاک کیا ہے۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ پہلگام واقعہ کے بعد بھارت نے ایک فرضی کہانی گھڑی اور پاکستان کا مطالبہ بہت سادہ تھا، اگر آپ کے پاس کسی پاکستانی شہری کے ملوث ہونے کا کوئی ثبوت ہے تو براہِ کرم وہ ثبوت پیش کریں، اسے بین الاقوامی برادری، کسی تیسرے فریق یا کسی معتبر ادارے کے حوالے کریں تاکہ شفاف تحقیقات ہو سکیں، بھارت کے پاس کوئی جواب نہیں تھا اور آج تک وہ اس کا جواب نہیں دے سکا۔
ڈی جی آئی ایس پی آر نے کہا کہ بھارت اپنی فضائیہ کی پوری طاقت اور دستیاب دفاعی نظام کے ساتھ اپنی مرضی کے وقت اور جگہ پر آئے، ہم نے ان کے 6 ہوائی جہاز گرا دیے لہٰذا ہمیں وہاں برتری حاصل رہی اور ہم نے انہیں سخت ترین سزا دی، دنیا نے دیکھا کہ بھارتی فورسز نے لائن آف کنٹرول اور دوسری سرحدوں پر کئی مقامات پر سفید جھنڈے لہرائے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم نے بھارت پر حملہ نہیں کیا، ہمارا جواب رات کے اندھیرے میں نہیں تھا جیسا کہ بزدل کرتے ہیں، ہم نے اعلان کیا کہ ہم جواب دیں گے، اس لیے تیار رہیں، ہم نے 26 اہداف منتخب کیے اور الحمدللہ 26 کو نشانہ بنایا۔
ترجمان پاک فوج نے مزید کہا کہ معلومات کے میدان میں بھی ہم شفاف رہے، ہم نے سچ بولا، جھوٹ نہیں بولا، نہ ہی حقائق کو مسخ کیا، دنیا نے دیکھا کہ ان کا میڈیا اور حکومت مسلسل جھوٹ بولتے رہے اور آج تک مختلف بے بنیاد کہانیاں پیش کر رہے ہیں۔
لیفٹیننٹ جنرل احمد شریف چودھری بتایا کہ بھارتی کہتے ہیں انہوں نے کراچی کی بندرگاہ پر حملہ کیا، کئی ہوائی جہاز گرائے اور کہتے ہیں کہ ہمارے وزیر اعظم کو محفوظ جگہ منتقل کر دیا گیا، یہاں تک کہ ان کے ہائی کمشنر نے جعلی لوگوں کی تصاویر دکھائیں اور کہا کہ وہ دہشت گرد ہیں، جن میں ایک نمازی بھی تھا جو اصل میں ایک عام شہری تھا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ بھارتیوں نے کہا جوہری تابکاری ہوئی ہے اور عالمی ٹیکنالوجی کے ماہرین کو فوراً مداخلت کرنی چاہیے لیکن یہ سب جھوٹ تھا، کوئی بھی معتبر اور سنجیدہ ادارہ بھارتی دعوؤں کو سنجیدگی سے نہیں لیتا۔
ترجمان پاک فوج نے کہا کہ بھارت کی ایک بڑی مشکل یہ ہے کہ وہ خود پر حد سے زیادہ اعتماد کرتے ہیں اور ہمیں معلوم نہیں کہ یہ اعتماد کہاں سے آیا، ان کے پاس غلط اندازے اور مفروضے تھے کہ وہ شہری مقامات، مساجد پر حملہ کریں گے اور کچھ نہیں ہوگا، پاکستان جواب نہیں دے گا لہٰذا اب وہ فرضی کہانیاں بنا رہے ہیں اور وہ اس میں ماہر ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ بھارت کے پاس بہت طاقتور میڈیا ہے جبکہ تھیٹر اور فلموں میں بھی وہ پاکستان سے بہت آگے ہیں، پھر بھی وہ مختلف کہانیاں پیش کرتے رہتے ہیں، مثال کے طور پر کل انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان نے امرتسر میں سکھوں کے مقدس گولڈن ٹیمپل پر حملہ کیا جو کہ بہت ہی مضحکہ خیز بات ہے۔
ترجمان پاک فوج نے کہا کہ ہم اپنی حفاظت کر رہے ہیں، پنجاب کی حفاظت کر رہے ہیں اور اس علاقے کی تمام مقدس جگہوں اور تمام مذہبی فرقوں کا بہت احترام کرتے ہیں، ہمارے اور سکھوں کے درمیان مشترکہ ثقافت، محبت اور ایک پنجابی زبان ہے، ہمارا طریقہ نہیں کہ ہم کسی بھی شہری یا مذہبی جگہ پر حملہ کریں، یہ ہمارے اصولوں اور دین کے خلاف ہے۔
لیفٹیننٹ جنرل احمد شریف نے مزید کہا کہ میرے خیال میں بھارتیوں کو پہلے اپنی ساکھ بنانی ہوگی اور ساکھ ہزاروں ویب سائٹس بند کرنے، میڈیا پر پابندیاں لگانے یا حکومت پر تنقید کرنے والوں کو قید کرنے سے نہیں بلکہ سچ بولنے سے بنتی ہے، اس کے برعکس کیا پاکستان نے کوئی صحافی گرفتار کیا؟ نہیں، آپ ایسا نہیں پائیں گے، ہم نے ایسا نہیں کیا، یہی ہمارا پیغام ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم اپنے فضائیہ کے جوانوں اور ان کی کارکردگی پر فخر کرتے ہیں اور اس حالیہ فوجی تصادم میں ہم نے زمینی، فضائی اور بحری افواج کے ساتھ ساتھ سیاسی قیادت اور مسلح افواج کے درمیان بھی ہم آہنگی دیکھی اور پوری پاکستانی قوم کے درمیان مضبوط اتحاد دیکھا۔
ترجمان پاک فوج نے کہا کہ ہمارے پاس ایک مضبوط فولادی دیوار تھی، پاکستان نے ایک مستحکم فولادی دیوار کھڑی کی ہے جو کسی بھی بھارتی جارحیت کے خلاف ہے، یہ دیوار انضمام اور غلبے کی کوششوں کے خلاف سخت مزاحم ہے۔پاک فوج کے ترجمان نے کہا کہ پاکستان کے عوام، ہمارے سفارت کار، میڈیا، تمام سیاسی جماعتوں کے رہنما اور فضائیہ، بحریہ، بری فوج اور دیگر سکیورٹی ادارے ایک ساتھ مل کر اس جارحیت کا مقابلہ کر رہے تھے، یقیناً ہم اپنے پاکستانی فضائیہ پر فخر کرتے ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ صرف ہمارا فخر نہیں ہے بلکہ 6 اور 7 مئی کی درمیانی شب ہونے والی فضائی جھڑپ کا دنیا نے مشاہدہ کیا ہے اور مجھے یقین ہے کہ یہ واقعہ آئندہ دہائیوں تک ایئر وار کالجز اور فوجی اداروں میں پڑھایا اور زیر بحث رکھا جائے گا۔
ترجمان پاک فوج نے کہا کہ جنگ بندی کا مطلب صرف اتنا ہے کہ دونوں فریق ایک دوسرے کے خلاف لڑائی روک دیں لیکن اصل امن تبھی آئے گا جب بھارتی اس سیاسی ذہنیت سے آزاد ہو جائیں جو ان پر مسلط ہے، وہ ذہنیت جو جنگ کو اپناتی ہے اور بھارت کی سیاسی اشرافیہ پر حاوی ہے، یہ وہ جنگی جنون ہے جو بھارتی سیاسی منظرنامے پر غالب ہے اور اس کے تحت وہ مسلمانوں اور اقلیتوں پر جو ظلم ڈھا رہے ہیں، اسے ایک معمول کی بات سمجھتے ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ بھارت میں ایک سنگین مسئلہ ہے، یہ مسئلہ صرف مسلمانوں کے خلاف نہیں بلکہ عیسائیوں، سکھوں، دیگر برادریوں اور پسماندہ طبقات کے خلاف بھی ہے، وہاں بہت ظلم ہو رہا ہے لہٰذا جو معاشرہ اس ظلم کا شکار ہے وہ اس کے خلاف فطری ردعمل ظاہر کرتا ہے لیکن بھارتی حکومت اس مسئلے کو حل کرنے سے انکاری ہے۔
ترجمان پاک فوج نے کہا کہ انتہا پسندی اور ان کے نیٹ ورکس بھی اسی ردعمل کا حصہ ہیں جنہیں وہ نظر انداز کرنا چاہتے ہیں، یہ ان کا اندرونی مسئلہ ہے مگر وہ اسے بیرونی مسئلے میں بدل کر پاکستان پر جھوٹے الزام لگاتے ہیں، جب تک یہ اندرونی مسائل حل نہیں ہوں گے اور کشمیر کا مسئلہ بھی حل نہیں ہو گا جو ایک بیرونی مسئلہ ہے اور جس میں پاکستان، چین اور بھارت شامل ہیں اور جسے اقوام متحدہ کی قراردادوں اور عوام کی خواہش کے مطابق حل کیا جانا چاہیے، تب تک کوئی حقیقی امن قائم نہیں ہو سکتا۔
سندھ طاس معاہدے کی معطلی سے متعلق سوال پر لیفٹیننٹ جنرل احمد شریف چودھری نے کہا کہ صرف ایک پاگل ہی یہ سوچ سکتا ہے کہ وہ 24 کروڑ انسانوں کا پانی روک سکتا ہے، کوئی ایسا نہیں کر سکتا، ہمیں حقائق کو سمجھنا ہوگا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ کشمیر سے 6 دریا بہتے ہیں، جو اقوام متحدہ کی قراردادوں کے مطابق ایک متنازع علاقہ ہے، 1960 میں طویل مذاکرات کے بعد ورلڈ بینک نے ثالثی کر کے ایک معاہدہ کروایا جس کے تحت 3 دریا پاکستان کو اور 3 دریا ہندوستان کو دیے گئے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر بھارت اس معاہدے کی پابندی نہیں کرنا چاہتا تو یاد رہے کشمیر ایک متنازع علاقہ ہے، اگر کل کشمیر اپنے عوام کی مرضی کے مطابق پاکستان کے ساتھ شامل ہو جاتا ہے تو یہ تمام 6 دریا پاکستان کے ہوں گے اور بھارت کو ایک بھاری بوجھ اٹھانا پڑے گا، ہم دیکھیں گے کہ اس کا ہم کس طرح مقابلہ کرتے ہیں یہی حقیقت ہے۔
غزہ کی صورتحال سے متعلق سوال پر ترجمان پاک فوج نے کہا کہ جو کچھ غزہ میں ہو رہا ہے وہ نسل کشی ہے اور یہ بالکل ناقابل قبول ہے، یہ انسانی ضمیر پر ایک سیاہ داغ ہے، وہاں جو کچھ ہو رہا ہے وہ ہمیں بحیثیت پاکستان اور بحیثیت عسکری حکام ایک سبق سکھاتا ہے کہ آپ کے پاس اپنی طاقت ہونی چاہیے، آپ کو مضبوط کھڑا ہونا چاہیے اور ان کے سامنے ثابت قدم رہنا چاہیے جو سمجھتے ہیں کہ وہ مداخلت کر سکتے ہیں یا اپنی مرضی کے مطابق کچھ بھی کر سکتے ہیں۔

Pakistan Army Spokesperson Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that if India violates the Indus Waters Treaty, then 6 rivers will be Pakistan’s after the liberation of Kashmir.
In an interview with Al Jazeera TV, Pakistan Army Public Relations Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that the Pakistani armed forces have taught the Indian army a lesson that they will never forget. The military strategy adopted to counter the Indian attack will be studied for decades.
Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that the Pakistani army has gained superiority over India and prevented India from achieving its objectives in the recent attack. The courage of the Pakistani army and the superiority achieved over India have increased the love of the army in the hearts of the people and now the army has become a symbol of honor and pride.
On the question of victory in the war, the spokesperson of the Pakistan Army said that we always say that the war is ours and victory is only for Allah, so I think the answer to this question is with the international community, the whole world and impartial observers because they can give the correct answer.
He said that this question becomes clear when you visit the streets and cities of Pakistan, you can see the answer on the faces of the Pakistani people, their happiness and celebrations that they are celebrating right now, so the answer to this question is very clear.
He clarified that the matter is not limited to the military field alone, nor is it limited to air and ground battles alone, in this conflict Pakistan has exposed lies, deception, pressure, aggression and many other aspects of India.
He said that after the Pahalgam incident, India fabricated a fake story and Pakistan’s demand was very simple, if you have any evidence of the involvement of any Pakistani citizen, please present that evidence, hand it over to the international community, any third party or any credible institution so that a transparent investigation can be conducted, India had no answer and till date it has not been able to answer it.
The DG ISPR said that India came at its desired time and place with the full strength of its air force and available defense systems, we shot down 6 of their aircraft, so we had the upper hand there and we punished them the most severely, the world saw that Indian forces hoisted white flags at many places on the Line of Control and other borders.
He said that we did not attack India, our response was not in the dark of night as cowards do, we announced that we will respond, so be ready, we selected 26 targets and Alhamdulillah 26 were hit.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson further said that we remained transparent in the field of information as well, we spoke the truth, did not lie, nor distorted the facts, the world saw that their media and government kept lying and are presenting various baseless stories till today.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that the Indians say they attacked the port of Karachi, shot down several planes and say that our Prime Minister was shifted to a safe place, even their High Commissioner showed pictures of fake people and said that they were terrorists, including a prayer leader who was actually a civilian.
He said that the Indians said that there was nuclear radiation and that global technology experts should intervene immediately, but all this was a lie, no credible and serious institution takes Indian claims seriously.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that one of India’s biggest problems is that they are overconfident and we don’t know where this confidence came from. They had wrong assumptions and assumptions that they would attack civilian places, mosques and nothing would happen. Pakistan would not respond. So now they are making fake stories and they are experts in this.
He said that India has a very powerful media, while in theater and films they are far ahead of Pakistan, yet they keep presenting different stories. For example, yesterday they said that Pakistan attacked the holy Golden Temple of the Sikhs in Amritsar, which is very ridiculous.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that we are protecting ourselves, protecting Punjab and we respect all the holy places and all the religious sects of this region very much. We and the Sikhs have a common culture, love and a Punjabi language. It is not our way to attack any civilian or religious place. This is against our principles and religion.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif further said that I think Indians have to build their reputation first and reputation is not built by closing thousands of websites, imposing restrictions on the media or imprisoning those who criticize the government but by speaking the truth. On the contrary, did Pakistan arrest any journalist? No, you will not find that, we did not do that, that is our message.
He said that we are proud of our Air Force personnel and their performance and in this recent military clash, we saw harmony between the ground, air and naval forces as well as the political leadership and the armed forces and saw strong unity among the entire Pakistani nation.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that we had a strong steel wall, Pakistan has built a strong steel wall which is against any Indian aggression, this wall is very resistant to attempts at integration and domination.The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that the people of Pakistan, our diplomats, the media, leaders of all political parties and the Air Force, Navy, Army and other security agencies were fighting this aggression together, of course we are proud of our Pakistan Air Force.
He said that this is not only our pride, but the world has witnessed the aerial clash that took place on the night of May 6 and 7 and I am sure that this incident will be taught and discussed in air war colleges and military institutions for decades to come.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson said that the ceasefire only means that both sides stop fighting against each other, but real peace will come only when the Indians are freed from the political mentality that is imposed on them, the mentality that embraces war and dominates the political elite of India, this is the war madness that dominates the Indian political scene and under it they consider the atrocities they are committing on Muslims and minorities as normal.
He said that there is a serious problem in India, this problem is not only against Muslims but also against Christians, Sikhs, other communities and backward classes, there is a lot of oppression there, so the society that is a victim of this oppression shows a natural reaction against it, but the Indian government refuses to solve this problem.
The spokesperson of the Pakistan Army said that extremism and their networks are also part of this reaction which they want to ignore, this is their internal problem but they turn it into an external problem and make false accusations against Pakistan, until these internal problems are solved and the Kashmir problem is also solved which is an external problem and which includes Pakistan, China and India and which should be solved according to the resolutions of the United Nations and the will of the people, then no real peace can be established.
On the question of the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that only a madman can think that he can stop the water of 240 million people, no one can do this, we have to understand the facts.
He said that the fact is that 6 rivers flow from Kashmir, which is a disputed area according to UN resolutions. After long negotiations in 1960, the World Bank mediated and got an agreement under which 3 rivers were given to Pakistan and 3 to India.
He said that if India does not want to abide by this agreement, then remember that Kashmir is a disputed area. If Kashmir joins Pakistan tomorrow according to the will of its people, then all these 6 rivers will belong to Pakistan and India will have to bear a heavy burden. We will see how we deal with this. This is the reality.
On the question regarding the situation in Gaza, the Pakistan Army spokesperson said that what is happening in Gaza is genocide and it is completely unacceptable. It is a black mark on the human conscience. What is happening there teaches us a lesson as Pakistan and as military authorities that you must have your own strength, you must stand strong and remain steadfast in the face of those who think they can interfere or do anything they want.
