نئی دہلی: بھارتی ریاست کرناٹک میں ایک شخص نے مبینہ طور پر نابالغ منگیتر کا سر قلم کردیا۔بھارتی میڈیا کے مطابق کرناٹک پولیس نے دلہن کی عمر 16 سال ہونے کی وجہ سے مداخلت کر کے شادی کی ایک تقریب رکوا دی اور اہل خانہ سے کہا کہ دو سال بعد جب بچی 18 سال کی ہو جائے تو شادی کی جائے۔جس پر لڑکی کے اہل خانہ نے شادی کی تقریب ملتوی کردی۔ جب شادی کے ملتوی ہونے کی اطلاع دلہا پرکاش کو پہنچی تو وہ مشتعل ہوگیا اور سسرال پہنچ کر ہنگامہ آرائی کی۔پرکاش نے اپنی 16 سالہ منگیتر مینا کو مارا پیٹا اور مبینہ طور پر اس کا سرقلم کردیا۔ ملزم اپنے ساتھ کٹا ہوا سر لے کر فرار ہوگیا۔ پولیس نے اطلاع ملنے پر پرکاش کی تلاش شروع کردی۔پولیس نے پرکاش کے خلاف تعزیرات ہند کی دفعہ 307 (قتل کی کوشش) اور 302 (قتل) اور جنسی جرائم کے خلاف بچوں کے تحفظ کے قانون کی متعلقہ دفعات کے تحت مقدمہ درج کرلیا۔

When Prakash, the bride-to-be, was informed of the postponement of the wedding, he became enraged and went to the in-laws’ house to create a ruckus. Prakash beat up his 16-year-old fiancee Meena and allegedly beheaded her. The accused escaped with the severed head. The police started searching for Prakash on receiving information. The police registered a case against Prakash under sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code and relevant provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act.
