Economic self-reliance and solidarity must be promoted by adopting Iqbal’s philosophy: Prime Minister

وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ علامہ اقبال صرف شاعر ہی نہیں بلکہ ایک اہلِ بصیرت رہنما بھی تھے، اقبال کے فلسفے کو اپنا کر معاشی خود انحصاری، یکجہتی کو فروغ دینا ہو گا۔
وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف نے شاعرِ مشرق علامہ محمد اقبال کے یوم وفات پر پیغام دیتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ علامہ اقبال نے برِصغیر کے مسلمانوں کے لیے ایک الگ وطن کا تصور پیش کیا، ان کا فلسفۂ خودی اور شاعری نے تحریک پاکستان کو نظریاتی بنیاد فراہم کی۔
انہوں نے تاریخ کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے بتایا ہے کہ علامہ اقبال نے 1930 میں الہٰ آباد کے خطبے میں ایک علیحدہ مملکت کا تصور پیش کیا، ان کا نظریہ قائد اعظم کی قیادت میں عملی شکل اختیار کر کے پاکستان کی صورت میں شرمندۂ تعبیر ہوا۔
شہباز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ اقبال نے مسلمانوں کو صرف سیاسی طور پر ہی نہیں بلکہ فکری اور روحانی طور پر بھی متحد کیا۔
وزیرِ اعظم نے دور حاضر کے حوالے سے روشنی ڈالتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ آج پاکستان کو سماجی تقسیم، عالمی چیلنجز کا سامنا ہے تو اقبال کی تعلیمات مشعلِ راہ ہیں۔
ان کا کہنا ہے کہ علامہ اقبال نے علم، عمل، یقین محکم اور خود اعتمادی پر زور دیا ہے، ہمیں ان کے فلسفے کو اپناتے ہوئے معاشی خود انحصاری، قومی یک جہتی کو فروغ دینا ہو گا، اقبال کا فلسفہ، شاعری ہمیں بتاتی ہے ایک مثالی معاشرہ کیسے تعمیر کیا جا سکتا ہے، ایسا معاشرہ جہاں انصاف، محنت اور اخلاقیات کو فوقیت حاصل ہو۔
نوجوان نسل کو مخاطب کرتے ہوئے وزیرِ اعظم نے کہا کہ علامہ اقبال نے ہمیشہ نوجوانوں کو قوم کا اصل سرمایہ قرار دیا، اقبال کے نزدیک نوجوان ہی وہ طاقت ہیں جو قوموں کوعروج پر پہنچا سکتے ہیں، آج کے نوجوانوں کو چاہیے کہ وہ اقبال کے پیغام کو سمجھیں، جدید علوم حاصل کریں۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا ہے کہ ہم پر یہ ذمہ داری عائد ہوتی ہے کہ اقبال کے خوابوں کو حقیقت بنائیں، ہمیں نوجوانوں کو با اختیار بنانا ہے تاکہ وہ ملکی ترقی میں کلیدی کردار ادا کر سکیں۔
وزیرِ اعظم پاکستان نے عزم کا اظہار کیا ہے کہ اقبال کے یوم وفات پرعہد کریں کہ ہم ان کے نظریات کو انفرادی، اجتماعی زندگیوں میں اپنائیں گے، ایک مضبوط، خود مختار اور ترقی یافتہ پاکستان کی تعمیر کریں گے۔

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while giving a message on the death anniversary of the poet of the East, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, has said that Allama Iqbal presented the concept of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent. His philosophy of self and poetry provided the ideological basis for the Pakistan Movement.
Referring to history, he has said that Allama Iqbal presented the concept of a separate state in his Allahabad sermon in 1930. His theory took practical form under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam and was shamefully translated into the form of Pakistan.
Shahbaz Sharif has said that Iqbal united Muslims not only politically but also intellectually and spiritually.
The Prime Minister, while shedding light on the present era, has said that today Pakistan is facing social division and global challenges, so Iqbal’s teachings are a beacon of light.
He says that Allama Iqbal has emphasized on knowledge, action, firm belief and self-confidence. We will have to adopt his philosophy and promote economic self-reliance and national unity. Iqbal’s philosophy and poetry tell us how an ideal society can be built, a society where justice, hard work and morality prevail.
Addressing the young generation, the Prime Minister said that Allama Iqbal always considered youth as the real capital of the nation. According to Iqbal, youth are the power that can take nations to the top. Today’s youth should understand Iqbal’s message and acquire modern knowledge.
He further said that it is our responsibility to make Iqbal’s dreams a reality. We have to empower the youth so that they can play a key role in the country’s development.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan has expressed his determination to pledge on Iqbal’s death anniversary that we will adopt his ideas in our individual and collective lives, and build a strong, independent and developed Pakistan.
