امیر جماعت اسلامی حافظ نعیم الرحمان نے کہا ہے کہ آئی پی پیز کی 80 فیصد کمپنیاں پاکستان کے لوگوں کی ہیں، تمام حکومتوں نے ان کمپنیوں کی سہولت کاری کی، اب آئی پی پیز کا دھندہ نہیں چلے گا۔ دھرنے کے شرکا سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے امیر جماعت اسلامی حافظ نعیم الرحمان نے کہا کہ چھاپوں، گرفتاریوں کے باوجود کارکنان اسلام آباد پہنچے، ہم تھکے نہیں اسی جذبے کے ساتھ موجود رہیں گے، اگر میں کہوں ڈی چوک چلنا ہے تو کیا تیار ہیں؟۔
حافظ نعیم الرحمان کا کہنا تھا کہ اب پانی سروں سے گزر چکا ہے، تنخواہ دار آدمی کو برباد کر دیا گیا ہے، مڈل کلاس آخری ہچکیاں لے رہے ہیں، بجلی کے بموں کی وجہ سے صنعت کار ملیں بند کرنے پر مجبور ہوگئے ہیں۔
امیر جماعت اسلامی نے کہا کہ گوجرانوالہ میں ایک بھائی نے بجلی بل کی وجہ سے بھائی کو قتل کر دیا، لوگ بجلی بلوں کو جمع کرانے کے لیے گھریلو اشیا بیچنے پر مجبور ہیں، لوگوں کے کرائے کم اور بجلی کے بل زیادہ ہو گئے ہیں۔
حافظ نعیم الرحمان نے کہا کہ عوام پریشان ہیں، حکومت کے کان پر جوں تک نہیں رینگ رہی، آئی پی پیز کو لگام ڈالنا پڑے گی، بند پلانٹس کے پیسے عوام کیوں ادا کریں، سرمایہ کار بھی اپنی ملز بند کرنے پر مجبور ہیں، جاگیرداروں پر ٹیکس لگاؤ، عوام کے بلوں سے ٹیکس ہٹاؤ، تنخواہ دار طبقے پر ٹیکس کو ختم کرو۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ حکومت جھوٹ بولتی ہے کہ آئی پی پیز سے مذاکرات نہیں ہو سکتے، کون سی مجبوریاں ہیں جو آئی پی پیزسے بات چیت نہیں ہو سکتی، حکومت میں شامل افراد کی بھی بجلی کمپنیاں ہیں۔
حافظ نعیم الرحمان نے کہا کہ موجودہ حکومت کی کوئی ساکھ نہیں ہے، یہ فارم 47 والی حکومت عوام دشمن فیصلے کر رہی ہے، حکومت نے اپنی مراعات میں 25 فیصد اضافہ کیا ہے، بہت تماشا ہوگیا ان کو اپنی مراعات چھوڑنا پڑیں گی.
امیر جماعت اسلامی کا کہنا تھا کہ موجودہ حکومت نے نوجوانوں کو مایوس کر دیا ہے، پاکستان کے پڑھے لکھے لوگ ملک چھوڑ کر جا رہے ہیں، مفت اور معیاری تعلیم پاکستان کے عوام کا حق ہے۔ اس موقع پر مظاہرین نے ’’حق دوعوام کو بدلو اس نظام کو‘‘ کی نعرے بازی کی، حافظ نعیم الرحمان نے کہا کہ اب یہ نہیں چلے گا تمہیں عوام کو حق دینا ہوگا، یہ دھرنا ہم عبادت سمجھ کر کر رہے ہیں، اب پانی سر سے بہت اونچا ہوگیا ہے، جماعت اسلامی 25 کروڑ لوگوں کی ترجمانی کر رہی ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ دوبارہ الیکشن کی باتیں ہو رہی ہیں، دوبارہ الیکشن کرانے کا مطلب دوبارہ پھر دھندا ہوگا، دوبارہ الیکشن کے غیرضروری دھندے کا مطلب یہ ملے ہوئے ہیں، پاکستان کو دوبارہ الیکشن کی ضرورت نہیں، فارم 45 کے تحت حکومت بنائی جائے، دوبارہ الیکشن کی بات کرنے والا اپنی پارٹی اور ملک سے وفادار نہیں ہو سکتا، الیکشن دھاندلی پر جوڈیشل کمیشن بنایا جائے۔
حافظ نعیم الرحمان نے کہا کہ حکومت سے مذاکرات کے لیے کچھ دیر بعد کمیٹی کا اعلان ہوگا، کمیٹی ہی حکومت سے مذاکرات کرے گی، اگر حکومت سنجیدگی کا مظاہرہ کرے گی تو ہم بھی سنجیدگی کا مظاہرہ کریں گے، جب تک حکومت کسی نتیجے تک نہیں پہنچے گی دھرنا جاری رہے گا۔ امیر جماعت اسلامی نے مزید کہا کہ حکومت ہمارے تمام کارکنان کو فوری رہا کرے، اگر ہمارے کارکنان رہا ہوئے تو ہم سمجھیں گے حکومت سنجیدہ ہے۔
حافظ نعیم الرحمان نے کہا کہ ہم نے دھرنے کو چھوٹا نہیں ہونے دینا، وسیع کرنا ہے، جس نے عشا کی نماز نہیں پڑھی، پڑھ لیں، ہم تو جہاد کے راستے میں ہیں، کوئی ٹائم فریم نہیں دے رہا۔
شرکا سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے امیر جماعت اسلامی نے کہا کہ اگر ایک ماہ بھی دھرنا چلے تو آپ لوگ تیار ہیں؟ ہم نے ڈسپلن کو قائم کرنا ہے، نوجوان تقریریں اور شاعری بھی سنائیں گے، سب نے پیار محبت سے یہاں رہنا ہے۔ حافظ نعیم الرحمان نے کہا کہ ہماری خواتین ونگ تیار ہیں کل اعلان کریں تواحتجاج کے لیے آجائیں گی۔

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that now the water has gone over the heads, the salaried man has been ruined, the middle class is taking the last hiccups, the industrialists have been forced to close the mills due to the electric bombs.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami said that in Gujranwala, a brother killed his brother because of the electricity bill, people are forced to sell household goods to pay the electricity bills, people’s rents are low and electricity bills are high.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that the people are worried, the government is not paying attention, IPPs will have to be reined in, why should the people pay for the closed plants, investors are also forced to close their mills, landlords. Tax on, remove tax from people’s bills, eliminate tax on salaried class.
He said that the government lies that negotiations cannot be held with IPPs, what are the constraints that cannot be negotiated with IPPs, the people involved in the government also have electricity companies.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the present government has no credibility, this government with form 47 is making anti-people decisions, the government has increased its privileges by 25 percent, it has become a lot of drama and they will have to give up their privileges.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami said that the current government has disappointed the youth, educated people of Pakistan are leaving the country, free and quality education is the right of the people of Pakistan. On this occasion, the protestors raised the slogan of “Change the right to the people, change this system”. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that this will not work now, you have to give the right to the people. We are doing this protest as worship. The water has gone too high, Jamaat-e-Islami is representing 25 crore people.
He said that there are talks of re-election, re-election will mean fraud again, the unnecessary fraud of re-election has been mixed, Pakistan does not need re-election, government should be formed under Form 45. He who talks about re-election cannot be loyal to his party and country, a judicial commission should be formed on election rigging.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that a committee will be announced after some time to negotiate with the government. The committee will negotiate with the government. If the government shows seriousness, we will also show seriousness until the government reaches a conclusion. The sit-in will continue. Amir Jamaat-e-Islami further said that the government should release all our workers immediately, if our workers are released then we will understand that the government is serious.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that we should not allow the sit-in to be short, we should expand it. Those who have not offered the Isha prayer should read it, we are on the path of Jihad, no one is giving a time frame.
Addressing the participants, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami said that if the sit-in continues for a month, are you ready? We have to establish discipline, the youth will also recite speeches and poetry, everyone has to stay here lovingly. Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that our women’s wing is ready and will come for protest if we announce it tomorrow.
