Pakistan Navy’s new warship PNS Yamama arrives in Karachi

پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ کے مطابق پاک بحریہ کا نیا جنگی بحری جہاز پی این ایس یمامہ کراچی پہنچ گیا، جہاز کی کراچی بندرگاہ آمد پر ایک پروقار استقبالیہ تقریب کا اہتمام کیا گیا۔
آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق کمانڈر پاکستان فلِیٹ ریئر ایڈمرل عبد المنیب تقریب کے مہمان خصوصی تھے، کمانڈر پاکستان فلِیٹ نے پاکستانی سمندری حدود میں داخل ہونے پر پی این ایس یمامہ کا استقبال کیا۔پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ کے مطابق آف شور پٹرول ویسل پی این ایس یمامہ کو ڈیمن شپ یارڈ رومانیہ میں تیار اور دسمبر 2024 میں کمیشن کیا گیا، پی این ایس یمامہ کثیرالمقاصد، سبک رفتار، ٹرمینل ڈیفنس سسٹم، الیکٹرانک وارفیئر، اینٹی شپ اور اینٹی ایئر وارفیئر کی خصوصیات سے لیس ہے۔
آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق جہاز ملٹی رول ہیلی کاپٹر کے ساتھ طویل عرصے تک سمندر میں آپریشنز سرانجام دینے کی بھرپور صلاحیت رکھتا ہے۔
پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ کے مطابق پی این ایس یمامہ کی شمولیت سے ملک کی سمندری سرحدوں کی حفاظت کے لیے پاک بحریہ کی صلاحیت میں نمایاں اضافہ ہوگا۔آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق ان جدید ترین کثیر جہتی جہازوں کی پاک بحریہ میں شمولیت سے بحر ہند میں جاری پاک بحریہ کے میری ٹائم سکیورٹی پٹرول کے اقدام کو تقویت ملے گی۔
پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ کے مطابق پاک بحریہ ملکی بحری حدود اور وسائل کے تحفظ کی ضامن ہے۔

According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, the new warship PNS Yamama of the Pakistan Navy has reached Karachi. A grand reception ceremony was organized on the arrival of the ship at the Karachi port.
According to the ISPR, Commander Pakistan Fleet Rear Admiral Abdul Muneeb was the chief guest of the ceremony. Commander Pakistan Fleet welcomed PNS Yamama upon entering Pakistani territorial waters. According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, the offshore patrol vessel PNS Yamama was built at the Damman Shipyard in Romania and commissioned in December 2024. PNS Yamama is equipped with multi-purpose, light-weight, terminal defense system, electronic warfare, anti-ship and anti-air warfare features.
According to the ISPR, the ship is fully capable of conducting operations at sea for long periods with a multi-role helicopter.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, the induction of PNS Yamama will significantly enhance the Pakistan Navy’s capability to protect the country’s maritime borders. According to the ISPR, the induction of these state-of-the-art multi-purpose ships into the Pakistan Navy will strengthen the ongoing maritime security patrol initiative of the Pakistan Navy in the Indian Ocean. According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, the Pakistan Navy is the guarantor of the security of the country’s maritime borders and resources.
