Assassination of Sikh leader Sukhbir Badal in Golden Temple

بھارتی پنجاب کے سابق نائب وزیرِ اعلیٰ سکھبیر بادل سنگھ پر قاتلانہ حملہ کیا گیا جس میں وہ محفوظ رہے، حملہ آور کو گرفتار کر لیا گیا ہے۔
بھارتی میڈیا کی رپورٹس کے مطابق سیاسی جماعت شرومنی اکالی دل (ایس اے ڈی) کے سربراہ سکھبیر سنگھ بادل پر آج صبح قاتلانہ حملہ ہوا ہے، جس کی ویڈیو منظرِ عام پر آ گئی۔
ویڈیو میں دیکھا جا سکتا ہے کہ ان پر ایک شخص نے اس وقت گولی چلا دی جب وہ امرتسر کے گولڈن ٹیمپل میں اپنی سزا ’سوادار‘ پوری کر رہے تھے۔
فائرنگ کرنے والے شخص کو موقع پر موجود لوگوں نے قابو میں کر کے پولیس کے حوالے کر دیا۔
پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ گرفتار شوٹر سے تحقیقات جاری ہیں۔
سیکیورٹی اسٹیبلشمنٹ کے ذرائع کے مطابق شوٹر نارائن سنگھ کا تعلق خالصتانی دہشت گرد گروپ ببر خالصہ سے ہے۔
واضح رہے کہ سکھبیر سنگھ بادل 2007ء سے 2017ء تک بھارتی پنجاب کے نائب وزیرِ اعلیٰ رہے، اسی دور میں ان کے والد پرکاش سنگھ بادل وزیرِ اعلیٰ رہے۔
اس دور میں ان پر اور ان کی کابینہ میں شامل دوسرے سکھ سیاست دانوں اور رہنماؤں پر توہینِ مذہب کے الزامات تھے۔
ان پر سب سے بڑا الزام سکھ مذہب کو بدنام کرنے والے گرو رحیم سنگھ کی مدد کا تھا اور سب میں انہوں نے ان الزامات کو تسلیم بھی کیا تھا۔
سکھبیر بادل سنگھ سمیت دیگر سکھوں نے ’تنکھیا‘ (مذہبی توہین) کا اعتراف کیا تھا، جس کے بعد اب اکالی دل نے انہیں سزا سنا دی ہے۔
بھارتی نشریاتی ادارے کے مطابق سکھوں کے امرتسر میں قائم مقدس مقام اکالی دل میں جتھیدار گیانی رگھوبیر سنگھ سمیت پانچوں اعلیٰ مذہبی پیشواؤں نے 62 سالہ سکھبیر بادل سنگھ، ان کے والد اور دیگر افراد کو توہینِ مذہب کے الزام میں بیت الخلاء اور عازمین کے جوتے صاف کرنے سمیت دیگر سزائیں سنائی گئی تھیں۔
سکھوں کے روحانی رہنماؤں کی جانب سے سنائی گئی سزا پر عمل کرتے ہوئے سکھبیر سنگھ بادل گزشتہ 2 دن سے سیوادار کے لباس میں ایک ہاتھ میں نیزہ لیے گولڈن ٹیمپل کے گیٹ پر بیٹھے تھے۔

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Indian Punjab Sukhbir Badal Singh was assassinated in which he remained safe, the attacker has been arrested.
According to Indian media reports, the head of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Sukhbir Singh Badal has been assassinated this morning, the video of which has come to light.
In the video, it can be seen that a man fired at him when he was serving his sentence ‘Savadar’ at the Golden Temple in Amritsar.
The person who fired was brought under control by the people present at the spot and handed over to the police.
The police say that the investigation is ongoing with the arrested shooter.
According to security establishment sources, shooter Narayan Singh belongs to Khalistani terrorist group Babbar Khalsa.
It should be noted that Sukhbir Singh Badal was the Deputy Chief Minister of Indian Punjab from 2007 to 2017, during the same period his father Prakash Singh Badal was the Chief Minister.
During this period he and other Sikh politicians and leaders in his cabinet were accused of blasphemy.
The biggest charge against him was that he had helped Guru Rahim Singh who defamed Sikhism and he had admitted to all these charges.
Other Sikhs, including Sukhbir Badal Singh, had confessed to ‘tankhya’ (religious blasphemy), after which the Akali Dal has now sentenced them.
According to the Indian Broadcasting Corporation, at the Akali Dal holy place of Sikhs in Amritsar, all five religious leaders, including Jathedar Gyani Raghubir Singh, 62-year-old Sukhbir Badal Singh, his father and others were accused of blasphemy and cleaned the toilets and the shoes of the pilgrims. Sukhbir Singh Badal has been sitting at the gate of the Golden Temple for the last 2 days, dressed as a sivadar, with a spear in one hand, following the sentence given by the spiritual leaders of the Sikhs.
