General Sahir Shamshad Mirza meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister and Army Chief

چیئرمین جوائنٹ چیفس آف اسٹاف کمیٹی جنرل ساحر شمشاد مرزا نے عراقی وزیرِ اعظم، وزیرِ دفاع، وزیرِ داخلہ اور آرمی چیف سے ملاقاتیں کی ہیں۔
انٹر سروسز پبلک ریلیشنز (آئی ایس پی آر) کے مطابق دورۂ عراق میں باہمی دلچسپی کے امور، خطے کی سیکیورٹی کی صورتِ حال اور دفاعی تعاون پر تبادلۂ خیال کیا گیا۔
اس موقع پر عراقی قیادت نے پاکستان کی مسلح افواج کی پیشہ ورانہ مہارت کو سراہا اور دہشت گردی کے خلاف جنگ میں پاکستان کی مسلح افواج کی قربانیوں کا اعتراف کیا۔
آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق جنرل ساحر شمشاد مرزا کو عراقی مسلح افواج کے ہیڈ کوارٹرز پہنچنے پر چاق و چوبند فوجی دستے نے گارڈ آف آنر پیش کیا تھا۔

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza has met with Iraqi Prime Minister, Defense Minister, Interior Minister and Army Chief.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), issues of mutual interest, regional security situation and defense cooperation were discussed during the visit to Iraq.
On this occasion, the Iraqi leadership appreciated the professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged the sacrifices of Pakistan Armed Forces in the war against terrorism.
According to ISPR, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza was presented a guard of honor by armed forces upon his arrival at the headquarters of the Iraqi Armed Forces.
